Late transfer of SEASAT-A project responsibility to JPL resulted in delayed preparation and submission of the requisite review material.The choice of the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) frequency especially was questionable for

Frequency management personnel from several government agencies performed in “Tiger Team“ fashion to coordinate authorization of a specific frequency.Direct project impact was the delay in knowing this important parameter and the concomitant delay in the detailed design of the SAR.Add
