Thee ffect is most noticeable for tho 0.25ccomtant-chord flap in which case the angle. of attack ofthe stall was reduced from 17 with flaps neutral to 13with flaps down only 30. The rectangular wings with splitflaps did not show this char
6、acteristic but stalled at aboutthe same angle of attack with flaps either neutral or de-flected.
