    23、res of luminaires with metal heads that permit mechanical and optical interchangeability of both head and reflector assemblies. 1.2 Slipfitter Mounted Heads The features covered in this standard apply to metal heads that are slipfitter mounted. 1.3 Reflector Assembly The reflector assembly is of the

    36、A series socket and receptacle in accordance with ANSI C136.4 g120 A provision for attaching the luminaire onto a luminaire support in accordance with ANSI C136.3 g120 A mating receptacle (for multiple-circuit use with a light-sensitive control device) in accordance with ANSI C136.10 and complete co

    37、nnection wiring of the lamp socket to the control receptacle with supply points established at terminals within the metal head. 4.2 Latch lugs and their attachment to the metal head shall be capable of maintaining a total lift of 18.144 kg (40 lb) plus the weight of the optical assembly. 4.3 If spec

    38、ified by the user, the metal head shall: g120 Have a servicing chain attaching device rigidly secured to the outside of the assembly not more than 25.4 mm (1.0 in.) above the reflector seat, and g120 Be capable of supporting a static load of 27.216 kg (60 lb). 5 REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY Reflector assembli

    43、 interchangeability of reflectors shall be made with the lamp light center positioned in accordance with Figure 2. Note: In reference to Figure 2, reflectors are defined as follows: g120 Class A reflectordesigned for use with a lamp light center 158.75 mm (6.25 in.) below the reflector seat. g120 Cl

    44、ass B reflectordesigned for use with a lamp light center 117.475 mm (4.625 in.) below the reflector seat. 8 MATERIALS AND PROTECTIVE COATINGS Materials and protective coatings used for metal head and reflector assemblies, including latches and the servicing chains, shall individually and as a system be resistant to atmospheric conditions, including the corrosive and erosive action of conditions of service encountered in industrial and seaboard areas.
