SCOPE 1.1 Scope. - This specification establishes the requirements for the

    2、procurement of a Coordinate Converer Mk 54 Mod O, BTJWEPS LD 162276. 2. APPLICABU DOCWNTS 2.1 The following specifications, stmdards, drawings and publica- tions, of the issue in effect on the date of invitation for bids, or re- quest for proposal, form a part of this specification to the extent spe

    12、sumed. 4.3 Test Equipment. - Items of test equipment required to perform acceptance tests se% forth in this specification are listed in QAP-8LO89 4.4 Acceptance Inspection. 4.4,l Each converter delivered under contract shall be subjected to all the tests detailed in QAP-81089. Failure to satisfactor

    13、ily pass any test specified therein shall be considered cause for rejection. 4.4.2 Test Conditions - Unless otherwise specified, the converter 4.4.2.1 shall be subjected to acceptance tests under the following conditions. Temperature. - Room ambient 65 degrees F to 95 degrees F (18.33 degrees C to 3

    14、5.0 degrees C), 4.4.2.2 Altitude. - Normal ground.     15、 shall be mounted on the vibration testing machine to simulate as realistically as possible the service in- stallation including vibration isolator or mounting devices, The converter shall be secured to the vibration testing machine in such a manner that the direction of vibration will be along each

    16、 of the principle axes separately. The converter may be reoriented on the horizontal vibrating machine between each test, if necessary, to obtain such motion. At no time shall the con- verter be mdunted in any other way than its normal position. 4,5.3.2.2 Test Procedures. - The converter shall be en

    17、ergized %o per- form its normal function in the operating condition and subjected to the vibration tests, specified in Standard MIL-STD-167, Type 1, 4,5.4 Shock. 4.5.4.1 Transportation, Storage md Eandling. - The converter, packe and packaged as defined in 5., shall.be sub jected to the appropriate

    18、shock isolation tests specified in Weapons Requirement WR-li, shall be in accordance with Weapons Requirement WR-1 i , Selection of tests 4.5.4.2 Operating. - The converter shall be mounted on the standard mounting bracket of a shock testing machine in a manner most closely sim- ulating actual servi

    19、ce installation, including shock mounts, The converter shall be energized to perform its normal function in the operation condi- tion, and shall be subjected to shock tests specified in Specification MIL-s-901 , 4.5.5 Climatic Conditions. - The converter shall be tested for catis- factory operation

    20、at the ambient temperatures and conditions, and cold weather operation conditions as specified herein. When separate high tem- perature and low temperature chambers are not available, it is permissible to perform the hot and cold tests in the same chamber by raising the am- bient air temperature fro

    35、ning material, bracing, or other adequate shock absorbing devices to ensure that the converter will meet all the requirements of Section 3 after being tested in accordance with 4.5.3.1 and 4.5.4.1.
