5、equirements, quality, quality control, and source approval for the coating, the integral skin, and the cellular polyurethane foam. 2.1 Restricted Chemical SubstancesEffective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS

13、he engineering drawing. 4.5.1 Finished Parts 4.5.1.1 Hardness ASTM D2240, Method A: Required: 50 5 points 4.5.1.2 Dry Heat Age - ASTM D 3574 Test K except as indicated below: Short term test - 1 hour at 100C (212F) Long term test - 168 hours at 65C (150F) Required: There shall be no blistering, soft
14、ening, or discoloration. Hardness shall not increase by more than 10 points. 4.5.1.3 Adhesion to Inserts ASTM D 429 Method B, use for metal or plastic inserts. Test before and after Dry Heat Age in section 4.5.1.2. Required: 600 N/m(width), foam failure only, adhesive failure shall be considered as

19、2247, Method: Prepare samples as described in the Test Method. Scribe an “X“ through the coated surface. Expose the scribed surface to 100 hours of condensing humidity. Required: Coating shall not exhibit any blistering, spotting, discoloration, softening, or loss of adhesion at a distance greater t
20、han 1.6mm (0.063 inch) from the scribed lines and shall pass the adhesion requirement listed below: 4.5.2.5.2 Coating Adhesion Test - ASTM D 3359, Method A Required: 5A rating, minimum 4.5.2.5.3 Sunlight Resistance - ASTM G 53 Required: There shall be no color alteration after 200 hours of continuou

23、3.3 Compression Set - ASTM D 3574, Test D, 50% Defection Required: 50% maximum set. 4.5.4 Flammability Material and parts must conform to and be certified by the supplier to meet all requirements of the latest issue of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 302 - Flammability of Interior
24、Materials, and all requirements of TMS-9544. 5.0 QUALITYMaterial supplied to this specification shall be free from objectionable odor, and shall be uniform in color, finish, and texture. All material produced to this specification shall be clean and free of dirt, grease, and contamination. All rubbe
25、r debris from cutting and processing shall be removed. Parts shall be free of voids. 5.1 QualificationMaterials submitted for approval to this specification shall include the following: 5.1.1 A detailed, signed test report documenting testing to this specification per TMS-9543. 27、1.2 The complete procedure used for preparing and curing materials for test, especially surface preparation (when appropriate) and condition of the test materials. 5.1.3 A complete description, including engineering prints and pictures of any non-standard test fixtures used. 5.1.4 Adhesive, substrat

29、rmal approval is not granted until this report has been published. 6.0 SOURCE APPROVAL AND QUALITY CONTROL 6.1 Supplier RequirementsAll suppliers to NAVISTAR are required to be registered to ISO 9001 Quality System Requirements. NAVISTAR will also accept TS-16949 registration as long as the supplier
30、 can also fulfill all AIAG PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and approval requirements. Suppliers must maintain their certification with an accredited registrar and must furnish copies of registration certificates to their Corporate Buyer upon request. 6.2 ApprovalParts supplied
31、against contracts or purchase orders citing this specification shall be equivalent in all respects to those samples, which were approved by the purchaser. No changes in formulation or processing practices are permitted without approval. In the event that changes in material, properties, processing p
32、ractices, construction, color, or labeling of the product are required, the supplier shall notify Materials Engineering at TDTC and Purchasing and Supplier Development of the proposed change(s). Test data indicating conformance to all requirements of this specification, test samples, and new or amen
33、ded or updated Material Safety Data Sheet(s) (MSDS), in accordance with CFR Title 29, Part 1910 shall be submitted with the request for change. 6.3 Process ControlThe supplier shall either perform and report results of tests on specific lots of parts produced using ISO 9001 or TS-16949 guidelines, o
34、r provide statistical evidence of the lot having been produced in a state of statistical control and with a process capable of providing all required properties. The part supplier and the plant metallurgist and/or the quality control manager of the using Navistar plant may determine testing and repo
35、rting requirements on specific products. 7.0 SHIPPING, PACKING AND IDENTIFICATION Loading, packing and identification shall be in accordance with Manufacturing Std.
