    3、RT 1. LINE-CONDUCTED NOISES 1. PURPOSE The follwing test specification is valid only for line-conducted noise and determines the limit value of noise strength from noise sources and the nose immunity from noise catchers, as they are firmly installed in vehicles. Besides the measuring methods and equ

    4、ipments for determination of noise quantities and of noise strength are decided. At the appliciation of this specification, comparable and reproducible measuring results should be obtained. 2. TESTING QUANTITY For determination of noise quantity from noise sources and of noise strength from noise ca

    5、tchers min. 3 test samples are needed. The samples must fulfill the conditions required in the test specification, and the measuring values are to be documented in test certificate. 3. QUALITY CONTROL For the control of production quality and fulfilling of this specification the division quality con

    6、trol and inspection is responsible. 4. PERMISSION BY THE GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER The parts delivered for the installation in the production must correspond to the released test samples relative to the electro-magnetic compatibility. Each change of released part relative to this needs the permission o

    7、f GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER. 5. CONCEPTS 5.1. Electro-magnetic compatibility (EMV) Capability to function electric equipments in a certain electro-magnetic surroundings without opposed injury. 5.2. Electrical impulse is a current or voltage pulse, of which duration is short in comparison with considere

    8、d time (see figure 1). For quantitive description of impulse following quantitives are useful.     9、representation of impulse characteristic quantity 5.2.1. Amplitude (Us, Is) is the top or max. vlaue of impulse. 5.2.2. Duration of impulse (T) is the time duration between two momentary values, at which the voltage resp. the current of impulse obtaines a decided fraction of amplitude. At the impuls

    10、e in vehicle power supply the time is indicated as impulse duration, in which the momentary value exceeds 10% of top value and then drops again. 5.2.3. Rise time (TR) resp. fall time (TF) indicates the time duration, in which the impulse rises from 10% to 90% of its amplitude resp. falls from 90% to

    11、 10% of its amplitude. 5.2.4. Pulse recurrence frequency is the number of impulse per time unit. 5.2.5. Impulse distance is the temporal interval from the self-corresponding marks of the second consecutive impulse. 5.3. Pulse string is a final number of tight consecutive impulses. The temporal inter

    12、val of each impulse is in the order of impulse duration. 5.3.1. Time of impulse series (TIS) is the temporal interval between the momentary values, at which the voltage resp. the current of the first impulse exceeds 10% of amplitude of this impulse an fall 10% of its amplitude at the last impulse. 5

    13、.3.2. Impulse series sequenced frequency is the number of impulse series per time unit. 5.3.3. Impulse series interval is the temporal interval from self- corresponding marks of the second consecutive impulse series. 5.4. Noise is the injury of function or destruction

    15、 of electrical component parts and instruments through impulse on the Bod system or through electro-magnetic fields. 5.5.1. Line-conducted noise is a noise, which reaches to noise catcher form a noise source connected to the power supply over the lines of power supply. 5.5.2. Emitted noise is a nois

    16、e, which reaches to noise catcher through electro-magnetic fields form the noise source. 5.6. Noise quantity is the time-dependent, electrical quantity, which can lead to noises. 5.7. Noise source is the source of electro-magentic noise quantities. 5.8. Noise replacing source is a noise impulse gene

    17、rator with adjustable noise quantity and adjustable output impedence RI. 5.9. Noise catcher is an electrical equipment, of which function can be influenced by a noise quantity. 5.10. Noise resistance is the capability of electrical equipment (noise catcher) to endure noise quantities of decided heig

    18、ht without injury of function. 6. MEASURING DEVICES 6.1. Oscilloscope For marking of noise quantity an oscilloscope (chiefly a storage oscilloscope with a storable recording speed of min. 10cm/us) is to be used with a tape width=100MHz and an input sensitivity of mim. 5mV/spacing.The registering can

    19、 result with an adapted oscilloscope camera. 6.2. Key head The dividor ratio of key head should amount to 100:1 and the electric strength should be 1kV. The input impedence of key head in dependance upon the frequency should not fall below the values in the table. Min input impedance of Key head F Z

Line lengths devergent from this can have an influence on the measuring result and must be mentioned in measuring certificate. 6.3. Current meas

It must h

    22、ave a measuring signal output, in order to indicate the current process on an oscilloscope. The measuring probe may have no measurable influence on the measuring current circuit. 6.4. Vehicle power supply balance network serves as reference network, by which noise sources are fed during the measurin

    23、g. It dampens the noise quantities on the mass, as they are dampened in vehicle also in the practice. The basic circuit diagram is to be seen from figure 2. The continuous loadability of vehicle power supply balance network should amount to min. 25A. 6.5. Noise replacing source The noise replacing s

    24、ource serves for judgment of noise resistance and for examination of endurance strength of noise catcher. It must deliver the test impulse specified in point 8.4 resp. impulse series. At use of noise replacing source a pre-selector which ends the duration test after the desired impulse number (impul

    25、se 1, 2) and a stop watch which ends the duration test after the needed test time (impulse 3,4) must be installed as duration test equipment. 6.6. Current supply As current supply, a loaded, not-aged, productive 12V-vehicle start battery should be chiefly used. At use of supply stabilizer, its to be

    26、 noted that the inner resistance is not greater than 10mOhm. The stabilizer must deliver a current of min. 40A. 7. MEASURING OF LINE-CONDUCTED NOISES 7.1. In general At line-conducted noise sources the noise quantities are led by a connection lines of disturber and the power supply to the noise catc

    27、her. As noise sources inductivities like electromagnets, relays, electromotors (wiper motor, washer motor, ventilator motor, starter) and coil (ignition coil) are chiefly considered in vehicle. The more trifle the load is, the higher is the amplitude of noise quantities. At the measuring of noise qu

    28、antities of noise sources in laboratory, the vehicle-power supply balance network represented in figure 2 has beend proved as compromise for feeding and loading network. It represnets the mins. loading (basic loading) for each estandard vehicle power supply. If a vehicle type is equipped with a high

    29、er basic load according to series or the noise source faffects on higher loading resistance (idling line), a special loading network between GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER and marker is to be agreed. The devergent loading network must be noted in measuring certificate. 7.2. Measuring of noise quantities in

    30、vehicle The noise quantities are measured with the voltage key head resp. with the current plier both at the clamps of noise source and also at the clamps of noise catchers. Amplitude and duration of noise quantities must be perceived in measuring certificate and may not exceed the lmit values indic

    31、ated in point 7.4.1 resp. 7.4.2. At complicated impulse forms the course of curve is to be recorede in the certificate.     32、ng of noise source impulse Before the measuring of noise impulse, the condition critical for the vehicle type is switched through disconnecting of additional devices. The loading resistance resulted from that is determined by current-voltage measuring and recorded in measuring certificate. At the te

    33、st of relay, its to be noted, whether the loading switched by the relay dampens noise impulse. 7.2.2. Measuring of disturbance current impulse The disturbance current impluse is measured with a current measuring plier at the most trifle loading occurring in the corresponding vehicles in the lines to

    34、 the noise catcher. 7.3. Measuring of noise quantities in laboratory The measurings are performed at +235K. 7.3.1. Measuring of noise quantities in laboratory The noise source is connected by the corresponding switch and by the vehicle-power supply balance network to a vehicle-starter battery or to

    35、an appropriate currents supply. The lines between vehicle power supply balance network and the noise sources should not exceed 0.5m. Divergent loading resistances, as they can occur without others in the practice, must be agreed between GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER and maker and signed in measuring certif

    36、icate. This noise source with loading network is disconnected by the switch. To the clamps of disturber the disturbance voltage impulse are measured with the key head. Limit values of disturbance voltage impulse The negative pole (earth) of power-supply serves as reference potential. The to

    39、p values yielded from the noise sources (from generators for the current supply) may not exceed following limit values for the disturbance voltage (including the proper impulse duration). Impuls 1 US = -100 V T = 2.0 ms Impuls 2 US = +65 V T = 0.5 ms Impuls 3 US = -150 V Tis = 10 ms Impuls 4 US = +1

Limit value of disturbance current The top values yielded from the noise sources (taken from generators for current supply) may not exceed following limit values for the disturbance currents (including their proper impulse duration) Impuls 1 IS= -10 A T = 2.0 ms Impuls 2 IS= +6,5A T

    43、 = 0.5 ms Impuls 3 IS= -3 A Tis = 10 ms Impuls 4 IS = +2 A Tis = 10 ms For the impulse 3 and 4 the impulse serial duration of 10mS may not be exceeded. Other impulses are permissible, so far as the limit lines for IS represented in figure 4 are not exceeded in dependence upon T in positive resp. neg

    44、ative direction. 7.5. Measures for limitation of noise quantities Noise quantities can be suppressed directly at the clamps of noise source by means of diodes, Z-diodes, damping resistances, condensators and interference filters. The interference media are to be installed as near as possible to the

    45、noise source. The application of centrally arranged Z-diode can form a sufficient protection for the noise catchers, if necessary. 8. NOISE STRENGTH OF NOISE CATCHERS 8.1. They can be disturber in their function or also be wrecked. Before the testing of noise strength the exact function of system to be tested must be decided, so that

    47、the most critical operational states, at which the instrument is tested, must be maintained in measuring certificate. 8.2. Determination of noise strength of noise catchers with the noise impulse generator The noise catcher is connected by the noise impulse generator to the vehicle starter battery o

    48、r to an appropriate current supply (see figure 5). The noise impulse generator yields the test impulse spedified in point 8.4. Through slow increasing of impulse amplitude the unloaded noise impulse height is determined, at which the part is wrecked or disturbed in its function. The part to be teste

    49、d may be tested only to the limit values indicated in point 8.4. The unloaded noise impulse amplitude, at which a wrecking or disturbing of function of devices appears, must be noted in certificate. The test arrangement is represented in figure 5. Figure 5.
