This test specification defines the test conditions for the jet horn of the high - pressure headlamp washing plant. 2 References Note: Only the latest approved standards are applicable unless otherwise specified. 2.1 External Standards/Specifications. None 3 Test Preparation and Evaluation 3.1 Resources. 3.1.1 Calibration. The test facilities and equipment shall be in good working order and sh

    5、all have a valid calibration label. 3.1.2 Alternatives. Alternative test facilities and equipment may also be used. However, all measuring variables as specified in this standard shall be determined correctly with respect to their physical definition. 3.1.3 Equipment. For the performance of the rele

    6、ase test following devices and equipments are require: 3.1.3.1 Pump (to 600 KPa), Hoses, Pressure Gauge (to 600 KPa) stopwatch, Test Beaker. 3.1.3.2 Ex-protected temperature cabinet and return - air furnace. (-40) E to +120 E ). 3.1.3.3 Serial high - pressure pump, power supply, switch clock with nu

    7、merator. 3.1.3.4 Agitator for the test of the vibrating strength. 3.1.3.5 Material - testing instrument to EDS-T-7408, EDS-T-7410, EDS-T-7673, EDS-T-7669, EDS-T-7677, EDS-T-7670, EDS-T-7671, EDS-T-7672, EDS-T-7678, and EDS-T-7668. 3.1.3.6 All devices and instruments must be so constructed that their

    8、 accuracy is better than the tolerances allowed for the test. 3.1.4 Test Piece. For the performance of a test according to this specification 12 pairs of sample (on the right and left) are requisite, which are to be delivered with a works test certificate. 3.2 Conditions. Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports

    10、, etc. 3.3 Safety. This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not propose to address all the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and deter

    11、mine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. 3.4 Documentation. Samples of components or material released to this standard shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this standard and approved by the responsible GM Department prior to the start of delivery of producti

    12、on level components or materials. Any change to the component or material, e.g., design, function, properties, manufacturing process and/or location of manufacture requires a new release of the product. It is the sole responsibility of the supplier to provide the customer, unsolicited, with document

    13、ation of any change or modification to the product/process, and to apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed to, the entire verification test shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to start of delivery of the modified or changed product. In some cases, a shorter test can be ag

    14、reed to between the responsible GM department and the supplier. 4 Requirements and Procedure 4.1 General. 4.1.1 Dimension, Materials, Colors and Surface Finish. The jet horn must correspond to the definitions in the constructional drawings and releases it its dimensions and their tolerances, in used

    15、 materials, in the colors and in the surface finish. 4.1.2 Deficiencies. Deficiencies which could impair the strength, the function or the appearance of the jet horn are not permitted. 4.1.3 Characterization. The jet horn must be marked with the makers mark, the GM Korea trade mark and the Part Numb

    16、er. 4.2 Performance Requirements. The tests are to be performed in the sequence and with the division of the test samples which are given in clause 4.2.8. If not differently specified, they are to be performed at 23 E 5K. 4.2.1 Water Pressure Test. The jet horn is connected to a water pump by means

    17、of hoses. For respectively (5.00.2) seconds 10 times water with a pressure of (60030) KPa is pushed through the jet, in between 10 seconds pauses each. At that water may not issue at the entire jet horn, except the jet opening. The individual parts of the jet horn must remain in their position and m

    18、ay not be forced out. The settling position of the jet may not be changed. The water quantity issued out of the jet opening is measured. 4.2.2 Storage. The jet horn is to be stored dried in fitting position. (305) minutes at +120 E 5K, afterwards. (1685) hours at +90 E 5K, afterwards. (80.5) hours a

    19、t (-40) E 5K, afterwards. Filled with water. (40.5) hours at (-40) E 5K (frozen in). The times are valid off reaching given temperature. Afterwards any deficiency may not be detected. (See clause 4.1.2). 4.2.3 Endurance Test. The jet horn is connected with hoses to a high - pressure pump customary f

    20、or the assembly. The plant is operated with a mixture of 50 Vol % water and 50 Vol % isopropanol, voltage at the pump (13.00.3) V. After respectively (151) seconds the pump is switched in for (0.53 0.03) seconds. 4,000 manipulations at +23 E 5K, afterwards. 4,000 manipulations at +66 E 3K, afterward

    21、s. 4,000 manipulations at -12 E 3K, afterwards. Afterwards any deficiencies may not be detected. (See clause 4.1.2

    22、). 4.2.4 Vibrating Strength. The jet horn is to be fastened rigidly at an agitator successively in all 3 space planes. The vibration frequency (sine - formed) amounts to 10 to 63 Hz gliding with a period of about 10 minutes, the amplitude 0.5 mm vertically, the test duration 3 times (80.5) hours. Af

    23、terwards any deficiencies may be detected. (See clause 4.1.2). 4.2.5 Material Test. The jet horn is - so far as applicable - to be tested according to the tests of the related drawings and has to satisfy the requirements given there. 4.2.6 Final Test. The test 4.2.1 is repeated. The measured quantit

    24、y of water may deviate maximum by 10 % from that measured at the test 4.2.1. 4.2.7 Vehicle Test. The jet horn is (on the right and left) is mounted according to drawing specification. The washing plant with the released high - pressure pump must satisfy the requirements of Swedish Standard SMS 2983E
