This standard is b

This standard specifiesdimensions, test methods and requirements forantenna coaxial cables.1.3 Classification. The cables are classified by theimpedance, attenuation loss and temperature.1.3.1 Temperature

The test facilities and equipmentshall be in good working order and shall have a validcalibration label.3.1.2 Alternatives. Alternative test facilities andequipment may also be used.

    17、However, all mea-suring variables as specified in this standard shallbe determined correctly with respect to its physicaldefinition.3.1.3 Facilities.3.1.3.1 Ovens. When an oven is required, unlessotherwise specified it shall be a hot air oven. The aircontained in the oven shall be completely changed

    18、 atleast 8 times/h and 20 times/h max. at the specifiedtemperature.3.1.4 Equipment. As specified in the single tests.3.2 TestSamples. Numberoftestsamplesarespec-ified in each section. The cables shall be manufac-tured under full production conditions. No parts out ofprototype tools shall be used.3.3

    19、 Conditioning. Test samples for all tests shall bepreconditioned for at least 16 h at a temperature of(+23 5) C (room temperature) anda relative humid-ityof (45.75) %. Unless otherwise specified, all testsother than “inprocess”testsshallbe conducted atthistemperature.3.4 Documentation. Samples of co

    20、mponents ormaterial released to this standard shall be tested forconformity with the requirements of this standard andapproved by the responsible GM Department prior tothe start of delivery of production level componentsor materials.Any change to the component or materiale.g. design,function, proper

    21、ties, manufacturing process and/orlocation of manufacture requires a new releaseof the product. It is the sole responsibility of thesupplier to provide the customer, unsolicited, withdocumentation of any change or modification to theproduct/process, and to apply for a new release.If not otherwise ag

    22、reed to the entire verification testshall be repeated and documented by the supplierprior to start of delivery of the modified or changedproduct. In some cases a shorter test can be agreedto between the responsible GM Department and thesupplier.3.4.1 TestResults. The test results shallbe reportedina

    23、 test report (seeGME14022). Thetest report shallinclude as minimum:Name of the supplier.Date.Designation of product. Deviationsfrom the requirements of the test procedures shallhave been agreed upon. Such requirements shallbe specifiedon compone

    25、ntdrawings, test certificates,reports etc.4 Requirements and ProcedureNote: Where no tolerance is specified, all values areto be considered to be approximate.4.1 Material.4.1.1 Conductor. See GME14022.4.1.2 Insulation. See GME14022.4.1.3 Material of the Sheath. The sheath shall besmoothand free from

    26、 cracks, pittingand otherdefectsvisible to the naked eye.4.1.4 Identification. As part of the work of typetesting, material identification shall be carried outby means of determination of various chemicaland physical properties and characteristics in orderto determine the properties and characterist

    27、ics oftype-tested antenna cables.This is done in order to obtain reference values thatwould be needed in the event of any claims. Depar-tures from these reference values exceeding normaltolerances shall initiate more extensive inspection inaccordance with this standard.4.1.4.1 IR-Spectrum. This meth

    28、od is used for identi-fication of organic compounds and takes place on thebasis of the position and intensity through molecularmovement provoked absorption.The analysis of the insulation shall be performed indeliveryconditionandafter short-term ageing (240h).Note: Depending on colour batch, small ch

    29、angesand/or deviations are permitted.4.2 Marking. The usage of the marking is to beestablished by agreement between customer andsupplier.Colour-and laser marking are permitted. Prepare two test samples,each of 3 m length and remove 25 mm of insulationfrom each end.4.6.1.2 Apparatus. A freezing chamber at a temper-ature of -40 C shall be used.4.6.

    34、1.3 Prcoedure. The cable shall be stored at-40 C for 4 h.Wind the cable, still in cold, around a mandrel withdiameter five times the cable outside diameter. Fortesting with a rotatable mandrel, use mass and mini-mum number of turns according to Table 5. Windingspeed shall be 0.2 s-1. After winding,

    35、the sheath shallbe visually examined. Then measure the attenuationloss and impedance.4.6.1.4 Interpretation of Results.     36、m Ageing.4.6.2.1 Test Sample. Prepare two test samples,each of 3 m length and remove 25 mm of insulationfrom each end.4.6.2.2 Apparatus. Perform the short-term ageingtest using an oven at a temperature specified inTable 1.4.6.2.3 Procedure. Place the test samples in anoven 240 h. Fix the test sample

    37、s by the conductorto avoid any contact between the insulation and thesupports. The test samples shall be separated fromeach other by at least 20 mm and from the inner sur-face of the oven. Cable insulations made of differentmaterials shall not be tested at the same time.Afterageing, withdraw the tes

    38、t samples from the ovenand maintain them at (+23 5) C for at least16 h .Wind the cable around a mandrel with diameterfive times the cable outside diameter. For testing witha rotatable mandrel, use mass and minimum numberof turns according to Table 5. Winding speed shallbe 0.5 s-1. After winding, the

    39、 sheath shall be visuallyexamined. Then measure the attenuation loss andimpedance.4.6.2.4 Interpretation of Result. No requirementsbut the values for impedance and attenuation lossshall be reported.4.6.3 Long-Term Ageing.4.6.3.1 Test Sample. Prepare two test samples,each of 3 m length and remove 25

    40、mm of the insu-lation from each end.4.6.3.2 Apparatus. Perform the long-term ageingtest using an oven at a temperature specified inTable 1.4.6.3.3 Procedure. Place the test samples in anoven for 3000 h. Fix the test samples by the conduc-tor to avoid any contact between the insulation andthe support

    41、s. The test samples shall be separatedfrom each other by at least 20 mm and from the innersurface of the oven. Cable insulations made of differ-ent materials shall not be tested at the same time.After ageing, withdraw the test samples from theoven and maintain them at (+23 5) C for at least16 h . Wi

    42、nd the cable around a mandrelwith diameterfive times the cable outside diameter. For testing witha rotatable mandrel, use mass and minimum numberof turns according to Table 5. Prepare two test samples of200 mm length.4.6.4.2 Apparatus. Perform the test using an ovenat (+150 3) C.4.6.4.3 Procedure. Measure the exact length of thetest sa

    44、mples at (+23 5) C. Place the test samplesin an oven for 15 minutes. Fix the test samples bythe conductor to avoid any contact between the insu-lation and the supports. The test samples shall beseparatedfrom eachother byatleast20mmand fromthe inner surface of the oven. Cableinsulations madeof differ

    45、ent materials shall not be tested at the sametime.After ageing, withdraw the test samples from theoven. Prepare two test samples,each of 3 m length.4.6.5.2 Apparatus. Wind the antenna cable arounda mandrel with a diam

    47、eter of five times the cableoutside diameter. Then perform temperature cyclingaccording to Table 6.This complete one cycle. Repeat the cycle for a totalof 40 cycles.4.6.5.3 Interpretation of Results. After the test,measure the impedance and attenuation loss. Valuesaccording to Table 3 and Table 4.Ta

    49、r. A guide may be applied to stop the mass fromswinging.Theverticallyhangingcableshallbe fixedon oneend,the other end loaded by a mass of 0.5 kg/mm2 timesthe total conductor area. The mass shall be fixedto the cable. Connect the core and screen to a DCcurrent so it stops when core or screen have failures.The cable shall be bent 90 over the radius R at aspeed of 15 cyles/minute.4.6.6.4 Interpretation of Results.
