2、 material defined by this specification is a needled random velour non woven carpet of good quality and uniform composition. The carpet back is fused for improved abrasion resistance. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released for load floor covering requiring higher heat face goods due to in mo
3、ld application of carpet using a 100 ton press. This material would be utilized when molding temperatures reach 225 F or greater. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item assembly shall be tested to WSS-M8P16-B/latest and any additional SDS requirements. The detail
4、s for each of the suppliers specific construction shall be documented in the supplement attached and uploaded into the FMD (Ford Materials Database) or scanned data package. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard
5、 Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1.1 Vehicle Interior Environment Quality Materials/Component Performance Requirements Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-C1. Data must be included in material submission package. 3.2 S
6、AMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished assemblies. 3.3 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample, or shall be as specified on the engineering drawing.
