2、IVE, INTERIOR PERFORMANCE WSS-M11P62-A 1. SCOPE This specification defines the performance requirements for adhesives used in interior applications. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for adhesives used to manufacture interior assemblies and/or subassemblies, (i.e. door trim,
3、consoles, headliners, carpet laminates, etc.) 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 FLAMMABILITY, max 100 mm/min (ISO 3795/SAE J369) Fo
4、r adhesives that are bonded over 100% of substrate surface area: Test sample preparation: Prepare composite sample with production substrates and adhesive. The adhesive thickness, application, and cure methods must reproduce the production process. Exceptions to this method require prior approval an
5、d written concurrence from the appropriate Materials Engineer. For adhesives having point-contact with the substrate (e.g. hot melt): Test sample preparation: Apply the adhesive film to a suitable release liner. The adhesive thickness, application, and cure methods must reproduce the production proc
