2、 The material defined by this specification is a sintered iron base powder metal. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used for a magnetic sensor. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform t
3、o the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). Part producers using this material in their products, must use Ford approved materials and must conform to a process control plan which has been approved by STA and/or the relevant Materials Activity. 3.2 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION (Weight %) Total Carbon, max 0.15 Manganese, max 0.60 Phosphorus 0.35 - 0.55 Sulfur, max 0.75 Iron, min 97.0 3.3 DENSITY 7.0 - 7.5 Mg/M3 (ASTM B 311) 3.4 HARDNESS As per Engineering (ASTM E 18) Drawing 3.5 PROOF LOAD As per Engineering Drawing
