    2、IR/PCR CONtENT POLYESTER NON-WOVEN, WRS-M5H47-A2 DINAMICA (MIKO) MICROSUEDE PATTERN, 68 IN WIDTH, RECYCLED PIR/PCR CONTENT LAMINATE, POLYESTER NON-WOVEN, WRS-M5H47-A3 FOAM, DINAMICA (MIKO) MICROSUEDE PATTERN, 63 IN WIDTH, RECYCLED PIR/PCR CONTENT 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification i

    3、s a Dinamica microsuede pattern, non-woven fabric, flame laminated to flame bondable polyether urethane foam or adhesive laminated to a backing scrim. For floor mat binding applications this material is defined by a single layer Dinamica microsuede that is not laminated. This non-woven fabric is mad

    4、e from 25% minimum PIR/PCR (Post industrial/post consumer) recycled yarn. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were released originally for material used as cover material for headliners, sun visors, pillars, and floor mat bindings. Any other applications must be evaluated and approved by the respons

    5、ible Materials Engineering activity. 2.1 LIMITATION Dark colors used for pillar applications must use a dark colored backing to prevent read through. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 APPROVED SOURCES This specification requires the use of approved sources. Only the sources identified on the Ford Approved Source

    6、List (ASL) can be used when this specification is listed on the drawing, CAD file, or other documents. The list of approved sources is located within Ford at or available externally through a Ford Materials Engineer. 3.2 RECYCLED CONTENT This material must contain a minimum of 25% recycled content

    7、as defined by WRS-M99P42-A2. The remaining portion of the material can come from virgin sources.     8、 of 4 3.3 APPEARANCE The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Corporate Design master sample. 3.4 FABRIC PERFORMANCE In addition to the requirements listed herein, the fabric shall meet all requirements of WSS-M8P27-A1/latest for all systems above the beltline and WSS-M8P24-A/latest f

    9、or all floor mat binding applications. 3.5 VEHICLE INTERIOR ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-D1/latest, Performance, Vehicle Interior Environmental Quality Material/Component Requirements. Data must be included in m

    10、aterial submission package. 3.6 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test values are based on material conditioned for not less than 24 h prior to testing in a controlled environment of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity. Testing of the material should occur in the conditioning environment o

    11、r soon after removal. 3.7 FABRIC CONSTRUCTION Base Fabric Weight, -/+ 10 % tolerance A1 - 220 g/m2 (FLTM BN 106-01) A2 - 220 g/m2 A3 - 265 g/m2 Note: If back coating is present, back coating weight in g/m2 must be included as a subset of total weight. 3.8 COMPOSITION (ASTM D629) 3.8.1 Face Polyester

    12、: 90% +/- 2% Binder Polyurethane:10% +/- 2% 3.8.2 Foam (A1 and A3 only) Polyether Polyurethane The foam shall be polyether polyurethane and must meet Headlining Performance Specification WSS-M99P48-A2/latest. 3.8.3 Thickness As specified on Engineering Drawing 3.9 STRENGTH PROPERTIES 3.9.1 Breaking

GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. Contact

    16、for questions concerning Engineering Material Specifications. 4.1 Purchase departments will ensure that the material defined in this specification and shipped to any one assembly plant will be produced by one supplier only. In the event of a Global Program or regional duplication, each regional loca

    17、tion of the supplier for this specification must provide a construction package and be approved to meet this specification. 4.2 APPROVAL OF MATERIALS Suppliers desiring approval of their materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from Purchasing, Design or Product Development, and Materi

    18、als Engineering. The supplier shall submit a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by a qualified and authorized representative of the test facility, demonstrating full compliance with all the requirements of the Material Specification. Tested material samples must be available for

    19、 review upon request and kept for a minimum of one year. Upon request, the supplier will review the associated quality control documents (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Control Plans, Certification testing) with Ford. 4.3 SUPPLIERS ONGOING RESPONSIBILITY All materials must be equivalent

    20、in all characteristics to the material upon which approval was originally granted. Prior to making any changes to the material originally approved, whether or not such changes affect the materials ability to meet the specification requirements, the supplier shall notify the affected Supplier Technic

    21、al Assistance (STA), Purchasing, and Materials Engineering activities of ENGINEERING MATERIAL SPECIFICATION WRS-M5H47-A1/A2/A3 Copyright 2016, Ford Global Technologies, LLC Page 4 of 4 the proposed changes (with reasons) by submission of a completed Suppliers Request for Engineering Approval, SREA.

    22、For parts and components using Ford Engineering Material Specifications, all samples tested to the specifications for Design Verification (DV), Production Verification (PV) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) sign off must be kept until Job 1. 4.4 RESTRICTED SUBSTANCE MANAGEMENT STANDARD Sub

    23、stance restrictions imposed by regulations or Company direction applies to the materials addressed by this document. The restrictions are identified in the Restricted Substance Management Standard WSS-M99P9999-A1/latest which is updated yearly. It is the suppliers responsibility to comply with this standard on a continuing basis. 5. SUMMARY OF REVISIONS
