SCOPE The grease defined by this specification has a mineral oil with an inorganic thickening agent. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as a lubricant fo

    3、r anti-friction bearings operating continuously at 150 oC or intermittently at 175 oC. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 COLOR Dark

    4、 amber 3.2 ODOR Not unpleasant 3.3 DROPPING POINT, min 260 oC (ASTM D 566) 3.4 PENETRATION 270 - 300 (ASTM D 217, worked 60 strokes) 3.5 OXIDATION STABILITY, Pressure Drop max 25 psi (172 kPa) (ASTM D 942, 500 hrs.) 3.6 COPPER CORROSION, max 1A (ASTM D 130) 3.7 MINERAL OIL 3.7.1 Viscosity At 37.8 oC

    5、, min 324 cSt (mm2/s) (ASTM D 445) 3.7.2 Viscosity At 98.9 oC 30 - 33 cSt (ASTM D 445) (mm2/s) 3.8 STORAGE STABILITY The worked penetration of the material after being stored for a six month period at a temperature of 38 oC +/- 2 oC in an oil tight container shall not have changed from the original

    7、eel bearing dynamometer fatigue tests in which twelve bearings shall be tested simultaneously. The load sequence shall simulate car operation. The test shall be halted at the first failure of any one of the twelve bearings. The remaining eleven bearings shall be examined. They shall show no deterioration nor separation of the grease.
