SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a refined middle distillate petroleum product with controlled cetane number, cloud point, pour point and aromatic levels. 2. APPLICATION This s

    3、pecification was released originally for a “climatized“ #2-D diesel fuel used for initial fill. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 C

    4、ETANE NUMBER 45 min (ASTM D 613) 3.2 CLOUD POINT, max -25 C (ASTM D 2500) 3.3 POUR POINT, max -35 C (ASTM D 97) 3.4 VISCOSITY, AT 40 C 1.7 - 4.1 mm2/s (ASTM D 445) 3.5 WATER AND SEDIMENT, max 0.05% (ASTM D 1796) 3.6 ASH CONTENT, max 0.01% (ASTM D 482) 3.7 CARBON RESIDUE ON 10% RESIDUUM, max 0.20% (A

    9、surfaces and to minimize the effect of soluble metallo-organic compounds present in the fuel. The metal deactivator shall have a stabilizing effect equivalent to 0.28 kg min of N, N disalicylidene propylene diamine per 100,000 liters of fuel (or as otherwise specified). 3.13 DISTILLATION (ASTM D 86)

    13、 modifier (cloud point depressant). 3.20 CERTIFICATION Supplier shall certify that the diesel fuel is a formula that has been tested and meets Ford Motor Company requirements as stated in this specification. Technical evidence of these data and manufacturing limits must be tabulated on the attached

    14、form. This certification shall be by the suppliers Director of Research or other authorized official and submitted to the responsible Ford purchasing activity. This information will then be forwarded to the materials activity of the Engine Product Engineering Office or to the product engineering off

    15、ice responsible for source approval. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 FLAMMABILITY This material represents a potential fire hazard. The Manufacturing Engineering Department or other

    16、 responsible activity shall notify both the Security and Safety Units of its presence to assure that proper fire precautions are provided. The location in which it is used or stored shall be included in the notifications. 5.2 SAMPLING AND SUBMISSION OF SAMPLES (ASTM D 270) 5.3 Quality Control record
