REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 COLOR Amber 3.2 VISCOSITY AT OPERATING TE

5、MPERATURE 4,000 9,000 cP (mPa.s) (Brookfield, #5 Spindle, 10 r.p.m.) The viscosity of the material is recorded at 163 C, 177 C, 191 C. 3.3 SOLIDS, min 95% (ASTM D 2046, except heat at 177 C for 4 h, save sample for next test) 3.4 ASH, max 0.5% (Based on weight of solids) Test Method Place the crucib

The use of metal and rigid plastics is necessary due to the low tensile strength of the foam materials and the high shear adhesion values obtainable with this hot melt adhesive. Test Method Apply sufficient material a

    15、ation. 5.1 WEIGHT PER VOLUME 7.8 - 8.8 lb/gal (ASTM D 816) (0.93 - 1.05 kg/l) The weight tolerance for any one supplier shall be +/- 0.2 lb/gal (0.024 kg/l) based on the recorded weight for his original approved production sample. 5.2 DEGRADATION POINT 204 C This adhesive may be used at 191 - 204 C

16、for short periods of time (100 h max). The material must not be used under any circumstances when the temperature exceeds 204 C, since decomposition occurs, with permanent degradation of physical and adhesive properties. 5.3 PRESSURE SENSITIVE TACK When hot melt adhesive has cooled to 23 +/- 2 C, the material shall remain tacky for 90 days, with the surface protected from dirt or dust contamination.
