    2、all provide a stable working surface for postmortem examinations. Salient Characteristics: The autopsy table shall be constructed of stainless steel or corrosion-resistant material that has smooth edges and surfaces that are free of screws or rivets, as well as finished welds that are smooth and fre

    3、e of crevices, to facilitate cleaning and prevent the accumulation of micro- organisms. The autopsy table shall corisist of the following: a. b. C. d. e. f. g- h. i. 5 One removable slat for support of the cadavers head. A pedestal type table with a trough-shaped surface that slopes toward the sink

    4、for rapid and positive drainage. A one-gallon aspirator bottle. Waterproof electrical outlets. A perimeter flushing system. A disposal unit with a 1/2 or 3/4 hp motor. One aspirator that includes a vacuum breaker with a variable control valve to adjust the amount of suction. A minimum 8 feet long su

    5、ction hose and nozzle shall be provided. elbow-operated valves for hot and cold water and a minimum 8 feet long spray hose and nozzle. One dissecting board 12 inches plus or minus 1/2 inches square and 3/4 inch plus or minus 1/8 inch thick

    7、 with the cutting surface covered in neoprene cork. capacity, approximately 10 inches high and 12 inches in diameter. Included shall be a grid plate, supported by the bottom of the container, that facilitates thorough rinsing. Overflow holes shall be provided around the entire top periphery of the c

    8、ontainer. A minimum of 8 feet of transparent tubing and a locking cover shall also be included. 1. One organ rinse container of at least 4 gallons m. Five removable slats for support of the body. n. One dissecting tray, 25 inches plus or minus 1 inch long, 21 inches plus or minus 1 inch wide and 9 i

    9、nches plus or minus 1/2 inch in depth. The tray shall have an elevated dissecting area, a removable perforated grid plate, a permanently attached instrument tray, and shall provide positive drainage. o. One large, single compartment, integral sink at the end of the table, approximately 11 inches dee

The autopsy table shall have overall dimensions of 34 inches plus or minus 1 inch high by 32-1/2 inches plus or minus 1 inch wide by 101 inches plus or minus 3 inches long and shall weigh 385 pounds plus or minus 15 pounds. The electrical components of the auto

    11、psy table shall operate on single phase, alternating current, at 60 Hertz and 120 volts. The autopsy table leakage current shall comply with Underwriters Laboratories, UL 544, Standard for Medical and Dental equipment, Type C, non-patient equipment. Identification markinq. permanently marked with th

    12、e following: Each table shall be legibly and National Stock Number Manufacturers name Contract number ODeration and service manuals. The contractor shall furnish manuals, handbooks, and/or brochures containing complete operation, installation and service/maintenance instructions with each table. 2 P

The autopsy table shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability. Unit. Each (EA). One autopsy tabl

    14、e, as specified, constitutes one unit. Qualitv Assurance Provisions. Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the

    15、 contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where s

    16、uch inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. Records. Records of examinations and tests performed by or for the contractor shall be maintained by the contractor and made available to the Government upon the Governments request, at any time,

    17、 or from time to time, during the performance of the contract and for a period of three years after delivery of the supplies to which such records relate. Inspection. Inspection, as used herein, is defined as both examination (such as visual or auditory investigation without the use of special labor

    18、atory appliances or procedures) and testing (determination by technical means of physical and chemical properties) of the item. O Samplinq for examination. Sampling for examination shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105, with an AQL of 2.5 (percent defective) and an inspection level of S-

    19、3. The unit of product for examination purposes shall be one autopsy table. Samplinq for tests. Sampling for tests, including dimensional test, shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105, with an AQL of 1.0 (percent defective) and an inspection level of S-l. The unit of product for test purpo

Tests shall be conducted to determine compliance with specification requirements. Where feasible, the same sample s

    21、hall be used for the determination of two or more test characteristics. Tests shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following: The autopsy table shall have operational testing by the contractor to verify compliance with the requirements of this document. Results of all tests shall be made

    22、available to the Government to assure that the apparatus will function as intended. Metric products. Products manufactured to metric dimensions will be considered on an equal basis with those manufactured using inch-pound units, providing they fall within the tolerances specified using conversion ta

    23、bles specified using conversion ,a revision of Federal Standard 376, and all other requirements of this document are met. If a product is manufactured to metric dimensions and those dimensions exceed the tolerances specified in the inch/pound units, a request should be made to the contracting office

    24、r to determine if the product is acceptable. The contracting officer has the option of accepting or rejecting the product. Contractor certification. The contractor shall certify and maintain substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this Commercial Item De

    25、scription, and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of t

    26、he contract. Requlatorv requirements. Federal Food, Druq and Cosmetic Act. If the product covered by this document has been determined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to be under its jurisdiction, the offeror/contractor shall comply, and be responsible for compliance by its subcontractors/s

    27、uppliers, with the requirements of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, as amended, and regulations promulgated thereunder. In addition, the offeror/contractor shall comply, and be responsible for compliance by its subcontractors/suppliers, with the requirements of all other applicable Federal,
