This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 201 “Leather and imitation leather goods and footwear manufacturing machinery Safety” (Secretariat: UNI, Italy). The resp

    6、onsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering Standards Committee), Section Schuh- und Ledermaschinen. Amendment of the European Machinery Directive has made it necessary to review the previously valid standard, EN 12378:2005, in terms o

    7、f the essential requirements of the new European Machinery Directive, 2006/42/EC. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 98/37/EC (valid until 28 December 2009), and the “revised Machinery Directive”, Direct

    8、ive 2006/42/EC, which takes effect on 29 December 2009, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directives. Once this standard is cited in the

    9、Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standards referred to in clause 2 and in the bibliography of

    10、 the EN have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 12387:2006-04 as follows: a) Normative references have been updated. b) Table 2 “Methods of testing” has been updated. c) The information for use given i

These machines can be standing alone or combined in

    32、a modular system for shoe repairs or the production of orthopaedic shoes including the lasts. 1.2 This document does not apply to: a) Sewing machines b) Autosoling machines c) Sole stitching machines d) Hand operated pneumatic nail drivers or staple tackers. 1.3 This document specifies safety requir

    33、ements for construction, transport, installation, setting, adjustment, programming or converting, operating, cleaning, maintenance for the machines listed in 1.1. 1.4 This document deals with all significant hazards, hazard situations and events relevant to shoe repair machines when they are used as

    34、 intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer (see Clause 4).
