10、This is a full revision of the BS 7801:2004, published to accommodate: the regulatory changes that have occurred since 2004; the publication of BS EN 115-1:2008+A1:2010; the publication of BS EN 115-2:2010; changes in training requirements. It is intended to:a) assist employers and owners to provide
11、ever-safer workplaces;b) support a risk assessment methodology as the basis for determining safesystems of work;c) emphasize the need to demonstrate competence;d) meet the need to have a code of practice that covers escalators and movingwalks of any age, whether or not they conform to current Britis

Itbrings together all

Italso introduces the following principal changes: Clause 4 gives recommendations for owners of escalators and moving walks; Clause 5 gives recommendations for manufacturers and installers andpersons working on escalators and moving walks. There a

However, there are also some distinct differences between the two clauses. Users of th

20、A safe system of work normally involves definitive workingpractices for people and a certain level of product safety. Both of these aspectshave been addressed; in the case of product safety, the emphasis has been putonto persons to provide it.The harmonized European standards are commended to those
