The Child Intrusion Simulator shall subsequently bedropped into the pool at a second but similar location thatwould also simulate worst case conditions. Both the horizontaland vertical test shall be repeated two times in 10-minintervals. (There is a total

23、CDC (Center forDisease Control) charts to determine if the mannequin falls within theirperimeters for a one-year-old child. The weight of the mannequin must be20 (6 0.5 lbs and have a density of one). The child intrusion simulator canbe smaller than a one-year-old mannequin but cannot be larger than

Locate another 15 in. diameter fan by the alarmlocation on the side of the pool creating a wind velocity of 15mph on the pool surface within 24 in. of the pool wall and atthe pool alarm, registered by a wind anemometer (see Fig. 1).Both fans must be operat

This test is completed one time.FIG. 1 Wind TestF22080725.3 The Child Intrusion Simulator is introduced vertically ata 45 angle 610 and then horizontally, (crossing the field ofdetection at 2 to 4 mph and removed) at the point farthest fromthe
