    1、MILITARY SPECIFICATION RESISTOR NETWORK, FIXED, FILM (EXTERNALLY TRIMMABLE) This specification is approved for use by the U.S. Army Armament Research and Developnent Comand, and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. 1. SCOPE 1.1 This cpecificat.ion covers

    2、 the detail requirements not normally covered by the drawing and provides quality assurance provisions for the fabrication of a Trimable Resistor Network for use in the BLU-92/B Mine, Antipersonnel and Mine, Antitank: BLU-91/B. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 The following documents of the issue in effe

The initial resistance value shall be the nominal resistance used in the dc resistance tests. The trimmable resistor shall be designed so that any resistance within its trimmable

    6、 resistance range shall be obtainable with a single straight cut made with a Yag Laser set with a spot size of 2 mils, Q-switched at 3000 pulses per second, and with power of 1 watt. Windows shall expose all trimable material and the substrate around this material as specified in detailed drawing. (

Part number - 9328687X (X = Revision letter). b. Suppliers code symbol. c. Manufacturers date code, the first two digits shall be the last

    8、two digits of the number of the year. The third and fourth digits shall indicate the calendar week of the year. d. Pin No. 1 identifier, see DWG 9328687. 3.5.2 Resistance to solvents. The markings on resistor networks shall be legible after being subjected to the resistance to solvents test of MU-ST

    9、D.202, Met hod 215. 3.5.3 Data requirements. Data shall be recorded on a golno-go basis and retained for all test called out by this specification. Requirements for the submission of first article samples by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract. 3.7 Workmanship. The trimmable resistive network shall be fabricated

    11、and finished in a thorough, workmanlike manner consistent with the best practices of the industry. matter. The cleaning method used shall not be injurious to the resistive network nor shall the parts be contaminated by the cleaning agents, All markings and stampings shall be free of harmful cleaning

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection and standard quality assurance provisions. Unless otherwise specified herein or in the contract, the provisions of MIL-R-83401 shall apply and

    20、 are hereby made a part of this specification. 4.2 Classification of inspections. The following types of inspection shall be conducted on this item: a. First Article Inspection b, Quality Conformance Inspection 4.3 First article inspection. 4.3.1 Submission. The contractor shall submit a first artic

    21、le sample as designated by the Contracting Officer for evaluation in accordance with provisions of 4.3.2. trimnable resistor networks. The first article sample shall consist of sixty (60) 4.3.2 Inspections to be performed. First article inspection shall be performed by the supplier, after award of c

    22、ontract and prior to production, at a location acceptable to the Government (see 6.3). It shall be performed on sample units which have been produced with equipme-it- and procedures normally used in production See Table II specified herein. 4.3.3 Rejection, If any resistor network fails to comply wi

    23、th any of the applicable requirements, the first article sample shall be rejected. The Government reserves the right to terminate its inspection upon any failure of a resistor network in the sample, to comply with any of the stated requirements. 4.3.4 Requalification. The resistor network shall be s

    24、ubjected to another first article if: a. The contractors manufacturing techniques or process controls which affect form, fit, function or internal geometry of the device are revised by either contractor or one of his sub-contractors supplying parts or material. b, The contractor relocates his manufa

    25、cturing facilities. c. The contractor uses a new cub-contractor for material, parts or assembly. d. Testing is described in th

    31、e First Article and Quality Conformance Inspection forms. 4.4.4 Inspection equipment. The inspection equipment required to perform the examinations and test prescribed herein is described in t-he Paragraph Reference/Inspection Method column of the First Article and Quality Conformance forms. Design

    32、responsibility for all inspection equipment is assigned to the contractor, who shall submit for approval inspection equipment design in accordance with data item description DI-E-1118 or DI-R-1714, with the appropriate addendum to each, and with the terms of the contract. 4.1.1 “Test equiproent and

    33、inspect.ion facilities“ of MIL-R-83401. See 4.5 Methods of inspections. The methods of inspection and testing are given by reference in the First Article and Quality Conformance forms and 4.5.1 herein. 4.5.1 Visual and mechanical examination. Resistor networks shall be examined to verify t.hat the m

    34、aterials, design, construction, markings, and workmanship are in accordance with the applicable requirements (See 3.2, 3.3, 3.3.2, 3.3.3, 3.5 and 3.7). 5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Preservation, packaging and packing 5.2 Packaging. level B of MIL-R-39032. The resistor network shall be packaged in

    35、 accordance with 5.3 Packing. The resistor network shall be packed in accordance with level B of MIL-R-39032. 5.4 Marking. The packed components shall be marked in accordance with the comercial requirements of MIL-STD-1188. 5.5 Shipping. When resistor networks from more than one lot are shipped toge

    36、ther, each lot shall be kept separate, and the divisions between lots clearly indicated to prevent mixing of lots in transit. 6. NOTES 6.1 Intended use. The networks covered by this specification are intended for single-use, non-repairable military devices. 13 Provided by IHSNot for ResaleNo reprodu

Submit equipment designs as required to Commander: ARRADCOM, ATTN: DRDAR-QAT-I, Dover, New Jersey 07801. 6.4 Distribution of data (Lot traveller(s1 inspection and test results).

Drawings listed in Section 2 of this specification under the heading US Army Armament Research and Development Command (ARRADCOM) may also include drawings prepared by, an
