REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Parts.- The parts shall be in accor6ance with app7Lcable drawings and specif icattons . 3.2 Primer assembly.- The primer assembly shall comply with all requirements specified on Drawing (dwg.) 8831157 and wi%h all requirements specified in applicable s2ecifications. of a fi

The Government reserves the right to terminate its 4,3 Inspection provisions 4.3.1 Lot formation.- The term 170tt as used throughout this speclfication refers to an

    9、impection tot, which is defined as an essentially homogeneous collection of v.nits of product from which a representative sample is drawn 2nd irispected to determine con- formance of the lot with applicable requirements. The sample selected shall represent only that quar-tity of units from wkich the

    10、 sample was drawn and shall not be construed to represent any prior or subsequent quantities presented for inspection. Homo- geneity Ehall be considered to exist provided the lot has been produced by one manufacturer, in one unchanged process, in accordance with the same drawing, same drawing revisi

    11、on, same SpecLfication and same specification revision and complies with the provisions for submission of product as specified in MIL-STD-105. Changes to the process, specification, or drawing not affecting safety, performance, interchangeability, or storage, as determined by the Government, shall n

Allow the solution to remain in contact w2th the residue for 10 minutes, breaking u

    22、p any lumps with the flaftened end of a glass rod. suction draw off the solvent into a clen flask, and repeat the extraction with 2 more 20 ml. portions of warm solution. At the end of the third lxeatment completeness of extraction may be tested for by treating 1 or 2 drops of the ammonim acetate fi

    23、ltrate with 2 drops of dilute nitric acid and 2 drops of slightly acidified ferric alum solution on a white spot plate. If extraction is not complete, as shown by a red coloration, continue treatment of the residue with 10 ml. portions of the solvent, when extraction is complete, as shown by absence

    24、 of red coloration when %wo drops of the filtrate are tested, wash the crucible and resieue thoroughly with water, collecting the washings with the monium ace5ate filtrate, residue with alcohol and ether, and aspirate until the odor of ether is no longer detectable. Then place the crucible with cont

    25、ents in an oven at 100 degrees Centigrade for 15 minutes, and cool in a desiccator, and weigh. weight of the empty crucible and calculate the difference to percentage of antimony sulfide in the szmple. Add 2 ml. of glacial acetic

    27、acid and heat the solu6ion to-3oiling. W-ile stirring vigorously, slowly add 8 ml. cf 5 percent potassrun! . dichromate solution. Stir for 1 or 2 n:inutes lcrger, then Figes, on , steam bath for 1 hour, with freqcent stiyring. The pre cipitate should have a reddish-orange color. on a tared filterlng

    28、 crucible, wash with hot water, and dry the crucible and precipitate for 2 hours at 100 degrees (C.), ccol in a desiccator, and weigh. Calculate the increase in weight to percentage of lead thiocyanate in the sample. Catch the precipitate Lead thiocyanate = 100.05 x lead chromate 4.4.2.4 Potassium p

PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Preservation and packaging 5.1.1 Level A.- The percussion primer assembl

    30、y shall be preserved and packaged in accordance with dwg. 8861059. 5.2 Packing 5.2.1 5.3 Level C.- The outer Set-up boxes shall be pcke6 as specified on dwg. 8861060. with dwgs. 8867059 and 8861060. The con- tractor need provide no design when an Army design is listecl for an item of inspection equipment. Army designs fall into two basic classifications; mandatcry (eesignated MU“) and non-manda

    42、 shall be supported by detailed drawings which deplct all infor- mation necessary to completely fabricate, calibrate and operate an item of inspection equipment. This Fequires that the necessary views, dimensions, materials, finish, notes, operating and calibration instructions be properly depicted

Unless otherwise specified, contractor designs may be developed on the format the contractor normally employs in his equipment design procedure provided such format reflects the deta
