All parts having the same part number shall be functionally and dimensionally interchangeable. Common hardware and fastening devices such as bolts, nuts, screws, and washers shall b
42、e held to a minimum number of types and sizes. All screw threads shall be in accordance with FED-STD-H28. 3.8 Chassis. All components of the mixer shall be mounted on a chassis of welded-steel construction. The chassis shall have four pneumatic-tired wheels and shall be provided with power-assist, a
43、utomotive steering or articulated steering. Hydraulic or air-actuated brakes shall be provided on the drive wheels. The brakes shall bring the mixer to a full stop from 12 mph in not more than 25 feet. A method for attaching towing chains or cables to the front of the chassis shall be provided. In t
