REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Description. The mixer shall consist of a rotary soil tiller driven by a diesel engine, hydr

    16、aulic traction drive, an additive pump and spray bar, a travel speed indicator, flow meter, and necessary controls all mounted on four rubber-tired wheels. structure (ROPS) and falling object protective structure (FOPS).     18、xer shall be capable of performing all types of soil stabilization to include bituminous stabilization using asphalt cutbacks and emulsions, cement, lime, and choride. For the purpose of this requirement, recovered materials are those materials which have been collected

Rollover protective (ROPS) and falling object protective structure Unless otherwise specified (see 6.21, the mixer sha

    32、ll be equipped with a removable, bolted down ROPS and FOPS canopy. The canopy shall be removable without cutting or welding. The ROPS/FOPS shall conform to SAE 51040 and 5231. All parts having the same part number shall be functionally and dimensionally interchangeable. Common hardware and fastening devices such as bolts, nuts, screws, and washers shall b

    42、e held to a minimum number of types and sizes. All screw threads shall be in accordance with FED-STD-H28. 3.8 Chassis. All components of the mixer shall be mounted on a chassis of welded-steel construction. The chassis shall have four pneumatic-tired wheels and shall be provided with power-assist, a

    43、utomotive steering or articulated steering. Hydraulic or air-actuated brakes shall be provided on the drive wheels. The brakes shall bring the mixer to a full stop from 12 mph in not more than 25 feet. A method for attaching towing chains or cables to the front of the chassis shall be provided. In t
