    34、 makers, percolators, coffee urns, and other brewing-type appliances rated 120 V or less, for use in ordinary locations in accordance with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70. 1.2 In addition to coffee makers, this Standard covers tea pots, water kettles, carafes, soup warmers, and other similar a

    35、ppliances in which liquid is heated to greater than 115F (46C), and are lifted and tilted to dispense the liquid in normal service. 1.3 These requirements do not cover coffee-making-type appliances with capacities of more than 250 ounces (7.4 L), appliances intended for outdoor use, or appliances th

    36、at are covered in individual requirements that are separate from this Standard. 1.4 For the purposes of this Standard, a requirement that applies to one type of equipment is identied by a specic reference to the type of equipment involved (for example, percolator or other specic appliance).
