Terminology3.1 Definitions:3.1.1 synthetic turf fiber, nextruded fiber used to simulategrass blades in a tufted, knitted, or woven turf fabric.3.1.2 total lead content, nquantity of lead in all formsmeasu

    8、red by appropriate analytical technique and reported asmg/kg (ppm).4. Acceptable Level4.1 A representative sample of fiber shall be tested by thetest method(s) described in Section 5 of this specification. Thetotal lead content measured shall be less than 100 mg/kg(ppm).4.2 Synthetic turf fibers sha

    9、ll be tested at such quantityintervals as to ensure continuing compliance with the require-ment in 4.1.5. Test Methods5.1 Laboratory QualificationThe testing shall be con-ducted by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited environmental labo-ratory.5.2 Preparation of the SamplePrepare sample(s) as out-lined in EP

    10、A Method 3052 with the temperature modified from180 6 5C to 210 6 10C.5.3 Analysis of Sample:5.3.1 Analyze sample(s) prepared in 5.2 for lead usinginductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopyICP-AES or atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) as out-lined in Test Method E1613.5.3.2 Report tot

    11、al lead content as mg/kg (ppm).6.
