39、4.3.2.2 when marked in accordance with 6.2.16.1RATIONALE FOR DECISION:This Certification Requirement Decision (CRD) adds requirements to address the interconnection ofswitchboards using cord-connectors (inlets and outlets). Requirements were added to the UL Standard forTransfer Switches, UL 1008, an

40、d UL Standard for Panelboards, UL 67, to address similar situations. ThisCRD incorporates requirements comparable to those adopted in UL 1008 and UL 67 to address theinclusion of cord-connectors on switchboards. Among the provisions included in this CRD are:1) Creation of a new Section for Cord-Conn

41、ectors (New Section 8.8.4).2) Relocation of requirements for Receptacles from Section 8.6.14 to 8.8.4.3.1 for receptaclespecific requirements.3) General provisions to ensure applications intended for the connection of cord-connectedequipment does not interfere with the operation of switches or circu

43、, above this limit single poleinlets would be allowed provided the appropriate requirements are met, including a marking thatonly qualified personnel work on the equipment. For switchboards rated 200 Amps or less, aninterlock would be required to ensure that connections are made correctly and safely
