QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS4.1 Responsibility for InspectionThe vendor of sheet shall supply all samples for vendors tests and shall be responsible for the performance of all required tests. Pur
19、chaser reserves the right to sample and to perform any confirmatory testing deemed necessary to ensure that the sheet conforms to specified requirements.4.2 Classification of Tests4.2.1 Acceptance TestsComposition (3.1), tensile properties (3.3.1), and tolerances (3.5) are acceptance tests and, exce
20、pt for composition, shall be performed on each inspection lot.4.2.2 Periodic TestsBending (3.3.2) and cladding thickness (3.3.3.1) are periodic tests and shall be performed at a frequency selected by the vendor unless frequency of testing is specified by purchaser.4.3 Sampling and TestingShall be in
21、 accordance with AMS 2355.4.4 ReportsThe vendor of clad sheet shall furnish with each shipment a report stating that the sheet conforms to the composition and showing the results of tests on each inspection lot to determine conformance to the other acceptance test requirements and, when performed, t
22、o the periodic test requirements. This report shall include the purchase order number, inspection lot number, AMS 4064F, size, and quantity. This report shall also identify the producer, the product form, and the size of the mill product.4.5 Resampling and RetestingShall be in accordance with AMS 23
23、55.5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY5.1 IdentificationShall be in accordance with ASTM B 666/B 666M.5.2 Packaging5.2.1 Product shall be protected from damage during storage and shipment by a method determined by vendor unless specified by purchaser. Examples of typical protective methods include but are n
24、ot limited to interleaving with paper or oiling of the surfaces.5.2.2 Sheet shall be prepared for shipment in accordance with ASTM B 660 and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the handling, packaging, and transportation of the sheet to ensure carrier acceptance and saf
