    20、methods of measurement, and power factor (PF) for lighting equipment. This standard covers all types of lighting equipment that is used for general illumination (typically found in residential, commercial, and industrial applications) and which is connected to any of the following commonly distribut

    21、ed 60 Hz alternating current (AC) power line systems: 120 V, Single Phase 220/230 V, Single Phase 208/240 V, Single Phase 277V, 347 V, Single Phase 480 V Single Phase 480V/347 V, 3 Phase Note: These line voltages are nominal and include commonly encountered nameplate variations of the above. As an e

    22、xample, products rated at either 117, 120, or 125 Volts AC would be covered as being inclusive of nominal 120 V systems. Harmonic emission limits, where they are defined by this standard, shall include both harmonic and interharmonic emissions over the low frequency range 0 9 kHz. At this time, limi

    23、ts for interharmonics are not specified. This standard covers lighting equipment regardless of wattage (operating input power level) or operating input current. However, emission limits will only be specified over a range of power or current deemed to be warranted at this time. This standard superse

    24、des the requirements for power factor (PF) and total harmonic distortion (THD) of ANSI C82.11 and ANSI C82.14. Depending upon the specific product, harmonic limits in this standard may be expressed in terms of THD rather than individual limits for specific harmonics or interharmonics. Since there is

    25、 a technical relationship between harmonic content, THD, and power factor, some products will include PF requirements where the addition of these criteria is helpful in setting a baseline for power quality impact of lighting equipment. Emphasis has been on establishing limits that are simple to asse

    26、ss and that are in keeping with the practices of this industry. Lighting equipment covered under the scope of this standard which contains only passive electrical components or passive ballast circuitry is exempt from limits and need not be measured or tested, i.e. core and coil ballasts. Note: As a

    27、n example, an electronic starter (which contains an electronic component) is sometimes used in conjunction with passive ballast circuitry.     28、2 GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS Unless specified otherwise, limits will apply to an individual piece of lighting equipment (for example, a single CFL, LED lamp, ballast, luminaire, LED driver, LED self-ballasted light source, electronic transformer, or dimmer). Aggregate effects have been considered in set

    29、ting limits for individual pieces of equipment. Where specified and where application warrants, such as in very large or special-use installations (such as entertainment studios, sound stages, or theatrical venues), limits on individual pieces of equipment are not the only appropriate method to cont

    30、rol harmonics. In such cases it may be more effective and economical to apply harmonic mitigation at the point of common coupling (PCC) to the utility network. 3 SPECIFIC LIGHTING EQUIPMENT EMISSION LIMITS BY PRODUCT TYPE AND APPLICATION 3.1 Residential Lighting Equipment 3.1.1 Integrally Ballasted

    31、Medium Screw Based Adapters Requirements for integrally ballasted medium screw base (E26) compact light sources (CFL, HID, or halogen types) for use indoors or outdoors are specified in Table 1A, and LED light sources for indoors or outdoors are specified in Table 1B.     34、comply with the following criteria: The third harmonic current, expressed as a percentage of the fundamental current, shall not exceed 86% and the fifth harmonic current shall not exceed 61%. Also, the waveform of the input current shall be such that it reaches the 5% current threshold before 60, ha

    35、s its peak value before 65, and does not fall below the 5% current threshold before 90, referenced to any zero crossing of the fundamental supply voltage. The current threshold is 5% of the highest absolute peak value that occurs in the measurement window, and the phase angle measurement is made on

    36、the cycle that includes this absolute peak value, see Figure 1.     40、ot specified for trailing-edge phase controlled dimming devices. 3.1.5 System Point of Common Coupling Requirements (PCC) There are no harmonic, PF, or THD requirements at this time for system PCC. 3.1.6 Outdoor Residential Applications Luminaires rated and marketed for outdoor residential use need
