This specification establishes the requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of the TeTemetric Data Transmitting Set AN/DKT-49 (XN-l), fied (see 6.2.lb): AN/DKT-49(XN-2), and AN/DKT-49A, herein referred to as the “

12、t between the text of this specification and the references cited herein, the text of this specification shall take precedence. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Assembly description. The assembly shall consist of two individual electronics packages each frequency modul ati ng a separate transmitter, but with a c
13、ommon power supply (either three-phase alternating current (ac) or battery). (W) per transmitter into an approximately omnidirectional antenna. code modulation (PCM) system shall be a time division multiplex digital system with a frame length of 384 eight-bit words at a bit rate of 768 - +8 kilobits
14、 per second (kb/s) in a nonreturn to zero level (NRZ-L) format. being applied to the transmitter, the PCM signal shall be filtered through a low pass Bessel filter in order to minimize RF bandwidth. The seeker wide- band i ntermediate frequency (IF) shall be down converted to baseband by the wide-ba
15、nd video converter unit (WVCU) and this baseband signal shall modulate the second transmitter under normal post launch conditions. Prior to launch, a switch withi n the WVCU shall select injected video and i nput that signal (i nstead of converted IF) into the second transmitter. When specified in t
16、he contract or purchase order (see 6.2.lc), the assembly shall include a transponder with pulse-spaced codi ng for ground tracking.
