    18、aced on the forks with the forks elevated to maximum height. The center of gravity of3he weight shall be 24 inches from the heel of the forks. * The truck shall be anchored to prevent tipping-during this test. _.,_ .-. -_ . . . I 4.2.1.2 A load of 6,000 pounds shall be placed on the forks and raised

    19、 and lowered to limits of travel at maximum designed speed. The forks shall be tilted forward 5 degrees-and back 15 degrees while at maximum height. The center of gravity of the load shall be 24 inches from the heel of the fork during this test. This test shall be continued for 5 complete cycles. Th

    20、e truck shall be stable without counterweighting cr anchoring during this test. 4.2.1.3 The truck shali be loaded with a 6,000 pound load (to assimilate a cube, 4 feet by 4 feet by 4 feet) and driven to determine that it can turn within the limit of the intersection of .92 inches wide aisles interse

    21、cting at a 90 degree angle. 4.2.1.4 The truck shall be driven to determine that it can transport the design load of 6,000 pounds in both a forward and reverse direction at 7 m. p. h. in high gear and 3-1/2 m. p. h. in low gear and ascend a 10 percent grade at no specified rate of speed. 4.2.1.5 One

    22、wheel of the truck shall be raised 5 inches above the plane of the other three wheels to determine whether ail wheels maintain contact. This shall be repeated for each wheel. 5. PREPARATION FOR DELNERY 5.1 Cleanina. preservation and packauinq. - 5.1.1 Level A. - The lift truck shall be preserved and

    23、 packaged in accordance with Stand- ard ML-STD-162. 5.1.1.1 Repair parts. - Repair parts,shall be cleaned, preserved and packaged in accordance with Publication JPI-6 and Specification MIL-P-17652 as applicable or in accordance with Specifica- tion MIL-P-116 for items not specifically covered therei

Parts having dimensions exceeding 30 inches by 17 inches by 9 inches shall be further packaged in repair parts boxes conforming to type M of Specification MIL-B-233. 5.1.2 Level C. - The lift truck shall be preserved and packaged in accordance with commercial practice. 5. 2 Packinq. - 5.2.1 Level
