    15、requirements of Specification MIL-E-54U0 for design, construction and workmanship, except as otherwise specified herein. 3.3.1 Total Weight - The total weight of the equipment, excluding cables, shall be a minimum consistent with good design and shall be 29.5 pounds. 3.3.1.1 Form Factor - The total

    16、volume of Second Order Attitude Reference System, excluding cablesand mounts, shall not exceed 825 cubic inches. The external surfaces except as specified herein shall be painted lusterless gray, color number 36231, in accordance with FED-STD-595. 3.3.2 Reliability - The contractor shall conduct a r

    28、parameters shall be as specified in Specification AR-10. The following maintainability requirements shall be considered in the set and component design. (1) Minimization of the complexity of maintenance tasks (for example: calibration, adjustments, inspection, etc) by maximum use of a design which i

    29、ncludes optimum interchangeability and use of standardized equipment or commercial items. (2) Rapid and positive recognition of equipment malfunction or marginal pe r f o rma nc e. (3) Rapid and positive identification of the replaceable defective part, assembly or component. (4) Miniinum numbers an

    30、d types of tools and test equipment needed to perform maintenance. (5) Optimum accessibility in all systems, equipments, and components requiring maintenance, inspections, removal or replacement. 3.3.7.1 Maintenance Procedures - When specified by the contract, the contractor shall establish a comple

    31、te maintenance procedure which shall be submitted to the procuring activity for approval at the time specified in the contract. Maintainability provisions shall conform to the requirements of MI L-STD-470. 3.3.7.1.1 Maintainability Prediction Reports - When specified by the contract, the contractor

    32、shall prepare maintainability prediction reports in accordance with AR-10. 3.3.7.1.2 Compatibility with VAST - The equipment shall be compatible with the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and shall meet the requirements of MIL-STD- 2076(AS). MIL-STD-Z077(AS). If Test Program Sets exist for the equipmen

    33、t, and changes to the equipment are made that will effect the fault diagnosis procedure, changes to the existing Test Program Sets shall be prepared as part of the equipment changes in accordance with MIL-STD-Z077(AS), and serial number assigninent, namepl ate approval and identification marking sha

    37、any of the environmental service conditions or reasonable combin2tion of these conditions as specified in Specification MIL-E-5400 for Class 2 equipment. 3.3.10.1 Acoustical Noise - The equipment shall operate satisfactorily after being subjected to an acoustical noise sound pressure level of 140 dB

    38、 for a period of 30 minutes. 3.3.11 Reaction or Warm-Up Time - The time required for the system to operate shall be kept to a minimum and shall not exceed 1.0 minute under standard conditions and 1.5 minutes at extreme service conditions. 3.3.12 Input Electrical Power - 3.3.12.1 Operating Power - Th

    39、e equipment shall meet al 1 appl icable requirements of CIIL-STD-704 and shall give specified performance when energized frorn the following power sources having characteristics and limits as defined in MIL-STD-704. The power required shall not exceed the specified ainounts. Alternating Current Powe

    40、r (3-Phase, 4-!.lire), 115/200 volts, Category B, 300 volt-amperes maximum, 200 volt-amperes after 90 seconds. Lighting Power - Input pouer for lighting shall require not more than 1.5 amperes at 5 volts. 3.3.12.3 Degraded Performance - Degraded performance wi 11 be permitted for voltage transients

    41、only as specified in MIL-STD-704 (Category B). operation shall return to normal with no resulting damage to the equipment, 3.3.12.2 (7.5 volt amperes) System 3.3.13 Cooling - 3.3.13.1 Thermal Conditions - The system shall operate satisfactorily under 3.3.13.2 Operating Temperature Check Point - The

    48、 forth to establ ish the requirements of satisfactory performance apply to performance under both standard and extreme service and input power condi- tions. When reduced performance under the extreme conditions is acceptable, tolerances or values setting forth acceptable variations from the performa
