    17、TCS shall provide the F-14 aircraft with a visual target identification system that offers a 1O:l nominal improvement in resolution within the positive identification range of the unaided eye of the aircrew during clear weather and daylight conditions. 3.1.1 Major components list.     21、 Assembly (TCA). The TCA shall meet the require- ments specified in 3.3.1.1.1 through 3.3.1.1.7. 3.3.1.1.1 hnction. The TCA shall convert target images into television images at two selectable magnifications while providing two axis rate stabili- zation of the television cameras lines of sight. 3.3.

    22、1.1.2 Form factor. The TCA shall be mounted and enclosed in a cylindrical case which will attach to the F-14 airiframe. be not greater than 31.8 inches in length nor 9.0 inches diameter. The CPS shall contain regulated dc power supplies and electronics requiredfor synchronization signal generation, video tracker logic, video symbology generation, mode control, position control, and interface buffers. 3.3.1.2.1 Form factor. The CP

    27、S shall be mounted internal to the F-14 and shall be 16,O inches long by 8 inches wide by 8 inches high. 3.3.1.2.2 Weight. The welght of the CPS shall not be greater than 40 pounds . 3.3.1.2.3 CPS performance. The CPS shall include the interface between: the TCS and the F-14 air vehicle; the N/AWG-9

The manual acquisition mode shall provide the operator with the capability to manually track (point) and manually acquire (initiate autotrack) small targets or targets that are in a clu

Acquisition requirements in this mode are that the target shall be stable with an aspect ratio of approximately 1:l and that it be not less than two raster lines (TV lines) in height. The manual acquisition mode shall be capable of being entered at any time from any mode. Entry i
