SCOPE 1.1 Scope - The equipment covered by this specification shall be used as a component in an Aircraft Monitor

    2、and Control (AMAC) System A/A24B-4(V). Control- Monitor DCK-143/A24B-4(V) shall control the arming and disarming of from one to six nuclear weapons, and shall continuously monitor the safe or armed status of the weapons. 1.2 Classification - The equipment covered by this specification shall consist

    3、of one major item. 1.3 Associated Equipment - This equipment shall operate with the associated equipment listed in 6.5. 2.     9、 3.2,l General Requirements -The.parts and ma-erials specified in the drawings and related documents for use in construction of this equipment were selected t0 ensure the fulfillment of all requisements of this specifjation. by the contractor from the use of these specified parts and materials neces

    11、6 0372068 T W MIL-C-81767 (AS) requested from the procuring activity by the contractor and granted by the procuring activity prior to submission of equipments for preproduction tests. parts and material deviations shall not be construed by the contractor to constitute a waiver of the performance req

    12、uirements or any other requirements of this specification. Approval of . 3.2.1.1 Nonstandard Parts and Material Approval - Approval for the use of nonstandard parts and materials shall be obtained by the contractor as outlined in MIL-E-5400. 3.2.2 Supplemental Requirements - In the event that the co

    13、ntractor proposes to alter the equipment design delineated by this specification and applicable drawings, the following supplemental requirements for the selection of parts and materials are applicable. 3.2.2.1 Basic Conformance - Parts and materials selected for use in the equipment shall conform t

    14、o the requirements of MIL-E-5400. Parts shall be selected from those parts included in ANA Bulletin No. 400, unless the parts listed therein will not perform adequately in the intended applications and environments specified herein. 3.2.2.2 Interchangeability - The equipment shall meet the interchan

    15、geability requirements of MIL-E-5400. The drawings listed in DL 68A26E1 shall be the standard for measuring interchangeability of all applicable units, assemblies, subassemblies, and parts. 3.3 Design and Construction - The equipment shall be manufactured in accordance with the drawings and subsidia

    16、ry specifications listed in DL 68A26E1 and related lists, except insofar as errors of omission or commission on the drawings may be. incompatible with the requirements of this and related specifications. it is a condition of final acceptance that the equipment manufactured meet all the performance r

    17、equirements of this specification, and such acceptance test documents as may be applicable. to effect improvements, shall be specifically approved by the procuring activity prior to their incorporation. In any case Proposed changes, either to correct drawing discrepancies or 3.3.1 Total Weight - The

    18、 total weight of the equipment, excluding cables, shall not exceed 2 pounds, 14 ounces. 3.3.2 Reliabilitv - 3.3.2.1 Operational Stability - The equipment shall operate with satisfactory performance, continuously or intermittently for a period of at least 50 hours without the necessity for readjustme

    19、nt of any controls which are inaccessible to the operator during normal use. 3.3.2.2 Operating Life - The equipment shall have a minimum total operating life of 10,000 hours with reasonable servicing and replacement of parts. requiring scheduled replacement due to wear during the life of the equipme

    20、nt, and the wearout life of such parts, shall be determined by the contractor and submitted to the procuring agency. Parts 3.3.2.3 Reliabiliey in Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF) - The equipment shall have a minimum of 1000 hours of mean (operating) time between failures when tested and accepted as

    22、ence shall be within the limits of MIL-STD-461, Class ID except as noted below: Test Code Extended Limits CEO 1 Transient 50 db CE02 Transient 50 db CE03 Transient 4Q db CE04 Transient 40 db RE02 Transient 20 db 3.3.4 Standard Conditions - The following conditions shall be used to establish normal p

    23、erformance characteristics under standard conditions and for making laboratory bench tests. Room ambient (25 + 5C) Temperature - Altitude Normal ground Vibration None Humidity Room ambient up to 90% relative 5 volts a-c rms or d-c Input power voltage 27.5 + 0.5 Volts d-c 3.3.5 Service Conditions - T

    24、he equipment shall operate satisfactorily under any of the environmental service conditions or reasonable combination of these conditions as specified in MIL-E-5400 for c1,ass 2 equipment, except as modified herein. 3.3.5.1 Vibration - The equipment shall operate satisfactorily when subjected to the

    25、 vibration requirements of Curve I of MIL-E-5400. operations shall not exceed 0.5 minute. 3.3.6 Warm-up Time - The time required for the equipment to warm-up prior to 3.3.7.1 Operating Power - The equipment shall meet all applicable requirements of MIL-STD-704 and shall give specified performance wh

    26、en energized from the following power sources having characteristics and limits as defined in MIL-STD-704. power required shall not exceed the specified amounts. Op

    28、eration shall return to normal with no resulting damage to the equipment. - 3.4 Performance - The performance of the equipment shall be as set forth below plus any and all performance requirements stated on the drawings of DL 68A26E1. Unless .otherwise specified, these requirements shall apply under

    29、 both standard and extreme service conditions. conditions are acceptable, such variations are specified. When reduced performance requirements for service 3.5 Detail Requirements - Control-Monitor DCK-143/A24B-4(V) shall be manufactured in accordance with the documents listed on-DL 68A26E1 and shall

    30、 meet the requirements stated thereon and in the following subparagraphs. 3.5.1 Function - The control-monitor shall control six Relay Panels RYK-13/ A24B-4(V) to apply arming option and delivery mode signals to as many as six nuclear weapons, and shall indicate the safe or armed status of the weapo

    31、ns. monitor shall also provide a power relay energize signal to each of the six Transformer-Rectifiers TEK-9/A24B-4(V) used to provide operating power to the weapons. The control- 3.5.2 14 ounces. Weight - The weight of the control-monitor shall not exceed 2 pounds, 3.5.3 Contents - The control-moni

    32、tor shall contain the following indicators and circuits: (1) Weapon Status Indicators - There shall be six weapon status indicators that provide visual SAFE and-ARM indications. Weapon Status Indicator Circuits - An individual circuit shall be provided to control each of the six weapon status indica

    33、tors. Test Circuit - The control-monitor shall contain a test circuit to check the operation of the weapon status indicators. Delivery Mode Circuits - The control-monitor shall contain the necessary voltage output lines to permit distribution of the arming and safing relay energizing voltages to the

    34、 relay panels. voltages shall be controlled by option selector S1 and delivery mode switches S2, S3, and 54. (2) (3) (4) These (5) Emergency Safe Circuit - The control-monitor shall contain the necessary voltage output lines to permit distribution of the emergency safe energizing voltage to the rela

    35、y panel for safing the weapons in case of a malfunction in the normal safe circuit. This shall be controlled by option selector S1 and EMER SAFE switch. 3.5.4 Electrical Characteristics - The electrical characteristics of the control-monitor shall be as indicated in the following paragraphs. 3.5.4.1

    36、 Arm Monitor Lines - Pins F, S, V, Y, N, and d of J1, when connected, shall cause an indication to be given by the ARM weapon status indicators that the weapon pre-arming devices are in the arm condition. The current through these lines shall be within 15 to 50 milliamperes. continuity exists, the resistance applied to each line shall not exceed 1 ohm with respect to ground. 3.5.4.4 5 volts ms or d-c to the front pa

When Illuminating Panel Power - Pins h and G of J1 shall be used to connect 3.5.4.5 Monitor and Indicator Circuit Power - Pins.L and i of J1 shall be utilized to cozcircuits and indicator circuits respectively. and with the conditions as indicated below, the voltage drop be

    42、tween the input (pins rn and g of Ji) and the indicated output pins of J1 shall not exceed 0.5 volt, 3.5.4.6 Voltage Drop - With 27 + 2 volts d-c applied to pins m and g of 51 (1) Pin A - S1 in the ARM position, S4 in the FF position, and a load of 45 ohms between pin A and ground. Pin C - S1 in the

    43、 ARM position, and a load of 45 ohms between pin C and ground. Pin D - S1 in the ARM position, S2 in the TB position, and a load of 45 ohms between pin D and ground. Pin E - S1 in the ARM position, S3 in the AIR position, and a load of 45 ohms between pin E and ground. Pin H - S1 in the SAFE positio

    44、n, S5 (BIER SAFE) in the ON position, and a load of 45 ohms between pin H and ground. Pin J - S1 in the MON position, and a load of 100 ohms between pin J and ground. Pin K - S1 in the SAFE position, and a load of 45 ohms between pin K and ground. Pin M - S1 in the MON, SAFE, or ARM position, and a

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for Inspection - Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptab

The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure that supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may 4.1.1 Classifi

    48、cation of Tests - Items covered by this specification shall be subjected to the following tests to determine compliance with all applicable requirements : (1) Preproduction (First Article) Tests (2) Initial Production Tests (3) Acceptance Tests (4) Life Test 4.2 Preproduction (First Article) Tests -

    49、 Preproduction tests shall be conducted by the contractor on an equipment representative of the production equipments to be supplied under the contract. accomplished under the approved test procedure of 4.6. and the procuring activity shall be advised when tests are to be conducted so that a government representative may be designated to witness or supervise the tests when so desired.
