SCOPE 1.1 Scope - The equipment covered by this specification shall be used as a component in an Aircraft Monitor
2、and Control (AMAC) System A/A24B-4(V). Control- Monitor DCK-143/A24B-4(V) shall control the arming and disarming of from one to six nuclear weapons, and shall continuously monitor the safe or armed status of the weapons. 1.2 Classification - The equipment covered by this specification shall consist

Approval of . 3.2.1.1 Nonstandard Parts and Material Approval - Approval for the use of nonstandard parts and materials shall be obtained by the contractor as outlined in MIL-E-5400. 3.2.2 Supplemental Requirements - In the event that the co
13、ntractor proposes to alter the equipment design delineated by this specification and applicable drawings, the following supplemental requirements for the selection of parts and materials are applicable. 3.2.2.1 Basic Conformance - Parts and materials selected for use in the equipment shall conform t
14、o the requirements of MIL-E-5400. Parts shall be selected from those parts included in ANA Bulletin No. 400, unless the parts listed therein will not perform adequately in the intended applications and environments specified herein. 3.2.2.2 Interchangeability - The equipment shall meet the interchan
15、geability requirements of MIL-E-5400. The drawings listed in DL 68A26E1 shall be the standard for measuring interchangeability of all applicable units, assemblies, subassemblies, and parts. 3.3 Design and Construction - The equipment shall be manufactured in accordance with the drawings and subsidia
16、ry specifications listed in DL 68A26E1 and related lists, except insofar as errors of omission or commission on the drawings may be. incompatible with the requirements of this and related specifications. it is a condition of final acceptance that the equipment manufactured meet all the performance r
17、equirements of this specification, and such acceptance test documents as may be applicable. to effect improvements, shall be specifically approved by the procuring activity prior to their incorporation. 18、 total weight of the equipment, excluding cables, shall not exceed 2 pounds, 14 ounces. 3.3.2 Reliabilitv - 3.3.2.1 Operational Stability - The equipment shall operate with satisfactory performance, continuously or intermittently for a period of at least 50 hours without the necessity for readjustme
19、nt of any controls which are inaccessible to the operator during normal use. 3.3.2.2 Operating Life - The equipment shall have a minimum total operating life of 10,000 hours with reasonable servicing and replacement of parts. requiring scheduled replacement due to wear during the life of the equipme
20、nt, and the wearout life of such parts, shall be determined by the contractor and submitted to the procuring agency. 28、eration shall return to normal with no resulting damage to the equipment. - 3.4 Performance - The performance of the equipment shall be as set forth below plus any and all performance requirements stated on the drawings of DL 68A26E1. Unless .otherwise specified, these requirements shall apply under

30、 meet the requirements stated thereon and in the following subparagraphs. 3.5.1 Function - The control-monitor shall control six Relay Panels RYK-13/ A24B-4(V) to apply arming option and delivery mode signals to as many as six nuclear weapons, and shall indicate the safe or armed status of the weapo
31、ns. monitor shall also provide a power relay energize signal to each of the six Transformer-Rectifiers TEK-9/A24B-4(V) used to provide operating power to the weapons. The control- 3.5.2 14 ounces. 32、tor shall contain the following indicators and circuits: (1) Weapon Status Indicators - There shall be six weapon status indicators that provide visual SAFE and-ARM indications. Weapon Status Indicator Circuits - An individual circuit shall be provided to control each of the six weapon status indica
33、tors. Test Circuit - The control-monitor shall contain a test circuit to check the operation of the weapon status indicators. Delivery Mode Circuits - The control-monitor shall contain the necessary voltage output lines to permit distribution of the arming and safing relay energizing voltages to the
