The actuator shall function within 10 milli- seconds (ms) when a current of 0.300

    16、10.005 ampere direct current (Adc) is applied to the actuator terminals. 3.2.1.3 Exhibited force. When the actuator is initiated, the actuator piston shall be capable of moving a 20.0 -t0.5, -0.0 pound force a minimum of 0.312 inch within 10 ms. 3.2.2 Physical characteristics. 3.2.2.1 Dimensions i T

The dc resistance between the actuator case a

    20、nd the lead wires shunted together shall be as follows: (a) Pre-fired condition: Not less than 50 megohms at all temperatures. (b) Post-fired condition: Not less than 50 k ohms at 60 degrees Celsius (OC). e. 3.2.2.5 Solderability. The actuator lead wires shall meet the solder- ability requirements o

    21、f MIL-STD-202 when tested as specified herein. 3.2.3 Reliability. The design reliability of the item shall be established by the selection and inspection of materials, parts, and processes used in fabrication and shall be 0.9999 which shall be demonstrated by prediction. The performance of the item

    22、shall be sufficiently reliable to successfully meet all requirements of preproduction inspection with production reli- ability demonstration to be 0.9753 at 80 percent confidence. Subsequent to preproduction inspection, reliability shall b

    24、e 3.2.4 Environmental conditions. The actuator shall meet the performance requirements of 3.2.1 after exposure to the environmental conditions speci- fied herein. 3.2.4.1 Thermal shock. There shall be no evidence of mechanical or electrical damage to the,actuator during or after exposure to the ther

    25、mal shock specified in MIL-STD-202, Test Method 107, Test Condition A. 3.2.4.2 Mechanical shock. There shall be no evidence of mechanical or electrical damage to the actuator during or after exposure to the mechani- cal shock of MIL-STD-202, Test Method 213, Test Condition F. 3.2.4.3 High-frequency

    26、vibration. There shall be no evidence of mechani- cal or electrical damage to the actuator after exposure to the high-frequency vibration of MIL-STD-202, Test Method 204B, Test Condition D. 3.2.4.4 Temperature and humidity cycle (modified). The actuator shall be capable of meeting the performance re

    27、quirements of 3.2.1 after being subjec- ted t$ the temperature 8nd humidity cycle of MIL-STD-331, Test 105, Test Procedure 5.1. 3.2.4.5 Low temperature. There shall be no evidence of mechanical or electrical damage to the actuator after exposure to the low temperature of MIL-STD-810, Method 502. 3.2

    28、.4.6 High temperature. There shall be no evidence of mechanical or electrical damage to the actuator after exposure to the high temperature of MIL-STD-810, Method 501. 3.2.4.7 Storage life. The actuator shall withstand 5 years of sheltered storage and then meet the requirements specified in 3.2.1. 3

    29、.2.5 Transportability. Transportation requirements shall be in aecordance with the Uniform Freight Classification Rules which permit shipment under the minimum requirements for a device of this type. 3.3 Design and construction. The design and construction of the actuator shall conform to the requir

    30、ements specified herein and on the applicable drawing. If not specified, the details of design and construction shall be such that the actuator meets all the requirements specified herein. Accep- tance or approval of any such details shall not be construed as a guarantee of acceptance of the finishe

Materials, processes and parts to which particular MIL-STD-454 requirements pertain shall, wherever possible, comply wi

    32、th those requirements. activity approval. Any exception shall be subject to procuring 3.3.1.1 Identification of piston actuator explosives. The identity and quantity of al1 explosive materials used in the actuator shall be furnished along with the actuators submitted for acceptance. . 3.3.2 Electrom

    33、agnetic radiation. The actuator shall not conduct, radiate, nor be susceptible to electromagnetic radiation as specified in AS-2266. 3.3.3 Identification and marking. Each actuator shall be legibly marked in accordance with MIL-STD-130. to, the following: Marking shall include, but not be limited (a

    34、) This specification number. (b) Manufacturers code identification number. (c) Lot or code number indicating date of manufacture, 3.3.4 Interchangeability. The actuator shall conform to the interchange- ability requirements of MIL-1-8500. 3.3.5 Safety. The actuator(s) shall be fabricated, inspected,

    35、 and tested with proper consideration for personnel and equipment safety in accordance with applicable safety provisions of DoD 4145.26M. 3.3.6 Standards of manufacture. 3.3.6.1 Special working environment. The contractor shall provide adequate facilities for the fabrication, assembly, and testing o

    36、f actuators to be delivered in accordance with this specification. in the contract (see 6.2.1), the minimum standards for working environments shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-1695. Unless otherwise specified 3.3.6.2 Certification. When Specified in the contract, the contractor shall prepare writ

    37、ten certification, including objective quality evidence as defined in MIL-STD-109, that the materials, parts, and components used as part of the actuator meet the applicable requirements (see 6.2.2). 3.4 First article. Unless otherwise specified in the contract, (see 6.2.1), the contractor shall fur

    38、nish 60 actuators for the first article inspection and approval (see 4,1.2.1 and 6.2.1). The first article sample shall be man- ufactured using the same design, processes, materials and procedures proposed for production. shall be at the risk of the contractor. Any production prior to acceptance of

When specified in the contract, test reports conform- ing to MIL-STD-831 shall be prepared for all preproduction tests

Unless otherwise ,specified in the contract, test reports of quality conformance testing shall Je prepared for the delivered hardware (see 6.2.2). 3.5 Workmanship. The actuator shall be uniform in quality, free from cold soldering, corrosion, pits, cracks, dents, roug

    41、h edges and defects that will affect life, configuration, serviceability or appearance. Workmanship shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-454, Requirement 9. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract (see 6.2.1), the contractor is res

    42、ponsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. specified in the contract (see 6.2.1), the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection require- ments specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government.     43、ernment reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the speci- fication where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. Except as otherwise 4.1.1 General. qpecified herein. modify, or vary the frequency of tests or

    44、 require additional tests if nec- essary to ensure compliance with this specification, the drawings, or the contract. Unless otherwise specified herein, all tests are classified as MAJOR. specification shall cause rejection of that component. Inspections shall be performed on the individual lots as

The inspection requirements speci- fied herein are classified as follows: (a) Preproduction inspections (see 4.1.2). (b) Quality conformance ins

The quality conformance tests shall con- sist of the tests shown in Table IL and shall be conducted in the sequence specified therein on all production lots as specified herein, except those from the preproduc
