REQUIREMENTS 3.1 General.- Materials, parts and assemblies shall ccxgply with the re- quirements. specified on the applicable drawings and referenced specifications . 3.2 Breakaway torque.- All threaded joints of the assembled actuator shall withstand a breakaway torque application of 200 i

    7、nch pounds without loosening or deformation. 3.3 Residual magnetism.- The actuator shall not deflect the indicator of the approved compass more than 3 degrees in either direction when passed in front of the comgass at a distance of 6 inches. 3.4 of the ball screw assembly so that the strap drum comp

    12、sions, porosity or any similar defects. 3.6.2 ,s.- The part shall not have a burr which might interfere with the asseilibly or function of the item or which Mght be injurious to personnel handling the item. 3.6.3 Foreign matter.- The part or assembly shall not contain chips, dirt, grease, rust, corr

    13、osion or other foreign matter. 4. QUALITY ASSWCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. - Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the cont

    14、ract or order, the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements speci- fied herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such insp

    15、ections are deemed necessary to assure suJJplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Quality assurance terms and definitions, - Reference shall be made to MIL-STD-109 to define quality assurance terms used. 4.1.2 Inspection. - Inspection shal1 be in accordance with MIL-A-2550 exce

    33、.4 Inspection equipment.- The examination and tests shall be made using equipment approved by the Government. 4.3 Test methods and proceduses. 4.3.1 Breakaway torque.- A torque wrench, set at the torque requirements specified in 3.2 shall be used in conjunction with an adapter to determine the adequ

    34、acy of the joints. and the breakaway torque applied to the end closure and breech assemblies. The actuator shall be secured in a holding device 4.3.2 Initial lock security.- The actuator shall be tested for initial lock security by securing the actuator body in a holding device and manually pulling

    35、on the strap assembly to assure that the webbing cannot be extended or retracted. 4.3.3 Residual magnetism.- The actuator shall be t.ested for excessive residual magnetism, in an area free of local magnetic effects, by placing the actuator six inches from and at the same height as the compass in a n

    36、orth-south horizontal position (breech end at south) with the compass set in an east-west heading as shown in Figure I. The actuator shall be moved slowly past the compass in a longitudinal duleetion for its entire length, rotated degrees in the horizontal position about its longitudinal axis and mo

Install a fixture with the load specified in 3.5.4

    41、on the aircraft seat. The fixture shall be designed to cover at least 80% of the area comprising the bottom and back of the aircraft seat. Mount an accelerometer on the fixture to record acceleration of the ejected mass on a line which bisects the angle between the seat bottom and the seat back. A r

    42、ecording system shall be used to determine the amount of time required to eject the mass after actuation of the actuator under load conditions. 4.3.4.3 Ballistic test.- Utilize the test fixture specified in 4.3.4.2.
