6、is technical corrigendum corrects defects identified in ITU-T Q.835 (1999). It includes a table providing the relation between the defects and teh corrections. The ITU Telecommunicat
8、ion Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (
9、WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fal
10、l within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with ISO and IEC. 15、rrigendum corrects a number of defects to ITU-T Q.835 that have previously been documented and resolved in the Q.830 Series Plus Implementers Guide Version 1.0. This technical corrigendum replaces the Implementers Guide as the authoritative source. However, the defects corrected in this corrigendum
16、will be reflected in the Implementers Guide until this corrigendum has been published.
