The World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T Study Grou

10、ps which, in their turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of Recommendations by the Members of the ITU-T is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution No. 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared

11、 on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. 20、cope This Recommendation describes interworking between Signalling System No. 7 (ISDN) and extended DSS1 for the support of VPN applications with PSSl information flows. For the intenvorking in this Recommendation related to ISUP, these replace that specified in Recommendation Q.699 whereas all othe

21、r interworking of PSS1 information flows is according to that specified in Recommendation 4.699. The intenvorking described here provides a sub-set of all possible intenvorking scenarios and is therefore intended to describe the relevant mapping of information flows between the two interfaces being

22、described. 2 References The following ITU-T Recommendations and other references contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this Recommendation.
