    7、he pre-provisioned link management service provides functionality to addhemove transport entities (link connections or connection termination points) to/from client linking entities (links/link ends). The client linking entities have to be created using the topology management community (G.85x.3 ser

    8、ies of Recommendations). The transport entities that could be potentially added to the client linking entity have to be provided using either the pre-provisioned adaptation management (G.85x.8 series of Recommendation) within topological linking entities or using the link management within client li

    9、nking entities. Source ITU-T Recommendation G.853.12 was prepared by ITU-T Study Group 4 (1997-2000) and was approved under the WTSC Resolution No. 1 procedure on the 26th of March 1999.     10、onal Telecommunication Union) is tlie United Nations Specialized Agency in tlie field of telecoiiiiiiunicatioiis. The ITU Telecoinmunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of the ITU. The ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Rec

    11、ommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. Tlie World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T Study Groups which, in their turn, produce Recoininendations on these

    12、 topics. The approval of Recoininendations by the Members of tlie ITU-T is covered by tlie procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution No. 1. In some areas of inforination technology which fall within ITU-T?s purview, tlie necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. NOTE I

    13、n this Recommendation the terin recognized operating ageucy (ROA) includes any individual, coinpaiiy, corporation or governmental organization that operates a public correspondence service. The terms Administration, ROA and public correspondence are defined in the Constitutioi7 of the ITU (Geneva, 1
