2、l Specification AA-T-0091 which is canceled. 1. Scope. This comercial item description covers tables which are of a traditional style designed for heavy duty office use. 2. Salient characteristics. 2.1 Classification. The tables shall be classified in the following types and sizes. Types I With cent
3、er drawer II Without center drawer Sizes I - 1140 mm W x 759 mm D x 730 mm H, minimum 2 - 1520 mm W x 759 mm D x 730 mm H, minimum 3 - 910 mm W x 759 mm D x 730 mm H, minimum 3. Requirements. 3.1 Tops. The corners shall have a minimum 19 mm radius. The top surface shall be HP plastic laminate. The c
4、olor shall be white leather in accordance with the GSA Standard FSS-L-01001. Alternatively, the manufacturer may provide his equivalent commercial white leather HP plastic laminate subject to the contracting officers approval. The edges shall be plastic or metal (self-edging not allowed). The top ov
5、erhang shall be a maximum of 76.2 mm outside the aprons. The overall thickness shall be a minimum of 25 mm. 3.2 Aprons. All sides of the table shall have aprons. The bottom edge shall be formed and returned to avoid sharp or thin edges. 3.3 Center drawers. The center drawers shall have in and out stops, and built-in pencil trays. The bottom edg
7、es of the drawer front shall be formed and be flush with the apron bottom edge within - + 3 mm. 3.4 Legs. The legs shall be a minimum of 50 mm square, at the top, (with or without taper) formed steel and shall be KD construction. The bottom of the legs shall have foot sockets or glides. 3.5 Finish.
8、The bakedenamel finish shall be in accordance with Fed. Std. No. 595, gray (26134). Alternatively, the manufacturer may provide his equivalent commercial gray enamel finish subject to the contracting officers approval. 3.6 Identification label. The label shall have the contractors name or trademark,
9、 contract number and month and year of manufacture, legibly marked with permanent dark ink. The label shall be affixed to the underside of the top and shall not be removable by hand without defacement after being affixed for 4 hours. 3.7 Workmanship. The tables shall be free of edges, or burrs. The

The Government reserves the right to perform any or all of the inspections and/or tests set forth in this CID, as deemed necessary to provide assurance of supply conformance to prescribed requirements. J; 4.2 First article requirements. The first artic
15、le inspection shall be in accordance with the solicitation. 4.3 Quality conformance inspection. A sample of the finished product shall be selected in accordance with paragraph 4.6 of this CID for quality conformance verification. The sample shall be examined to verify that the requirements reference
16、d in sections 1, 2 and 3 have been met. Any non-conformance with the above requirements shall be considered a defect. All defects found shall be classified as major/minor in accordance with paragraphs 4.4 and 4.5 of this CID. 4.4 Major defects. The following conditions of non- conformance with the s
17、tated requirements of the CID shall be considered as major defects which may potentially affect the safety, function, durability, usability, and life of the purchased items. e Major Defects Reference Defects Performance: - No acceptable evidence of conformance with ANSI/BIEMA Standard No. X5.5 Workm

20、Minor Defects Reference Defects Workmanship : - Rough or slivered surface. - Burrs. - Rough tool markings. - Oversized holes. - Foreign matter embedded in the finish. - Painted surfaces contain sags or runs. - Components and parts covered with film. - Parts, components, overall covered, not free of
21、grease, dirt dust, epoxy, stains, etc. Finish : - Pitted, stained, or blistered surfaces. 4.6 Sampling. The sampling plan shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-105 with an inspection level II, Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of 6.5 percent defective for minor defects and an inspection level of S-2, AQL
22、 of 2.5 percent defective for major defects. 4.7 Inspection. Completed tables shall be sampled in accordance with MIL-STD-105. Examine for visual and dimensional defects using level S-2, AQL of 4.0 percent defective. 5. Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking. The preservation, packa
23、ging, packing, labeling, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order. 6. Standards. The latest issues of ANSI/BIFMA X5.5, MIL-STD- 105, and Fed. Std. 595 in effect on the date of the solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with the stated requirements. 7. Notes. 7.1 Orderin
