This standard establishes the common technical requirements for the literature commodity for the folder/wallet/pouch for a GM vehicle sold worldwide.
3、The common functions, performance, design constraints, reliability, and validation required of the subsystem are defined in this document. This specification becomes Statement of Requirements (SOR) Appendix C1 to a SOR for the literature subsystem. 1.2 Mission/Theme. The primary purpose is to provid

Appendix C1 GM Ergonomic Guidelines SOR for the Literature Subsystem 3 Requirements 3.1 System/Subsystem/Component/Part Definition. The folder/wallet/pouch provides a convenient, attractive “holder” for the cus
6、tomer literature. Parts should not have burrs or sharp angles; distortion, or scrapes in the parts surface. The color of part should be consistent. There shall be no visible sink marks on literature components, for textile, leather and other decorative materials: no wrinkles allowed in visible areas
7、. 3.1.1 Appearance. The folder/wallet/pouch shall maintain appearance, shape, color, texture, fit and alignment over the target life of the vehicle. 3.1.2 Content. The folder/wallet/pouch strategy is approved by the marketing organization, usually with consistent direction for the vehicle nameplate.

The preferred storage location for the folder/wallet/pouch containing customer literature is in the glove box. Alternative storage locations, such as the
10、center console, map pocket, or trunk, require program team approval. 4 Validation 4.1 General. Validation consists of test, inspections, analysis, and demonstrations to ensure that the folder/wallet/pouch meets all requirements (See Table 1). All validation tests shall be performed on production int
11、ent parts and are the responsibility of the supplier. 16、isions for Shipping 5.1 The anticipated shipping and storage conditions relative to temperature and humidity are: 90 C to -40 C for temperature range and a maximum 95% relative humidity. 5.2 The folder/wallet/pouch shall be packed in order to avoid part damage during shipping and storage. A containe
17、r of literature parts shall not weigh in excess of ergonomic guidelines specified by GM. Note: These are shipping conditions, which are unique and could be more severe than the environment inside a vehicle. These conditions must be anticipated and designed for when designing folder/wallet/pouch ship
