Rigid polyurethane (PUR) foam based on polyether reinforc

    2、ed with long glass fibers. The foam is molded into a part where the appearance side is laminated according to drawing specification. 1.2 Symbols. Not applicable. 1.3 Typical Applications. Foam for molding of foil or upholstery laminated parts, e.g., cover back front seat. 2 References Note: Only the

For the finished part, only foam flocks of nearly equal hardness may be applied. The origin of the foam wastes shall be noted on the Foam Certification Data

    5、Form (see Appendix A). 3.2 Test Piece and Number. If it is not possible to take test pieces from the molded part, then suitable plates shall be manufactured for the test (taken from equal manufacturing process, recipe of foam and density). The test piece shall be taken without skin and in rising dir

    6、ection of foam. 3.3 Conditioning. Immediately prior to test, all test pieces shall be pre-dried at +70 C 3 C and conditioned. The pre-drying period shall be 16 h for tests conducted after humidity aging to GMW14357 and shall be 3 h for other tests. Following pre-drying, all test pieces shall be cond

    7、itioned to GMW3221, Code A. 3.4 Required Performance Values. All requirements listed in Table 1 shall be fulfilled by the delivered foam and shall be documented by the supplier in the Foam Certification Data Form (see Appendix A). 3.5 Basic Foam Physical Properties. All requirements listed in Table

    8、2 shall be fulfilled by the delivered foam and shall be documented by the supplier in the Foam Certification Data Form (see Appendix A). Values indicated with “TBD” (“to be determined”) shall be documented and may be noted on the drawing/in the math data for production quality check purposes. Values

    9、 indicated with “N/A” (“not applicable”) are not required. Documentation of additional properties may be required by the approving region. Test Report according to GMW16853 has to be added. 3.6 Molded Part (Assembly) Properties. All requirements listed in Table 3 shall be fulfilled by the molded par

    10、t (final laminated assembly) and shall be documented by the supplier in the Foam Certification Data Form (see Appendix A). Values indicated with “TBD” shall be documented and may be noted on the drawing/in the math data for production quality check purposes. Values indicated with “N/A” are not requi

    11、red. Documentation of additional properties may be required by the approving region. Test Report according to GMW16853 (Table 4) has to submitted at the time of approval.     17、te materials, compatibility tests shall be repeated. At the discretion of the approving GM Engineer, foam material may be tested to standard composite materials for initial foam approval, e.g., a standard vinyl. Nevertheless, final foam approval shall be achieved in the production intended composite

    31、5 Rules and Regulations 5.1 Legal Regulations. All materials must satisfy applicable laws, rules, regulations and recommendations valid in the country of usage. 5.2 Language. In the event of conflict between the English and domestic language, the English language shall take precedence. 5.3 Inspectio

    32、n and Rejection. Samples of components or materials released to a GM material specification shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this material specification and approved by the responsible Engineering department prior to commencement of delivery of bulk supplies. A new approval mu

    33、st be received for any changes, e.g., properties, manufacturing process, location of manufacture, etc. If not otherwise agreed, all testing and documentation normally required for initial release must be completed. It is the responsibility of the supplier to inform the customer in a timely manner, w

    34、ithout solicitation, and to include documentation of all modifications of materials and/or processes and to apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed, all release tests shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to commencement of delivery of non-conforming bulk supplies. In indiv

    35、idual cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible Engineering department and the supplier. 5.4 Material Safety Data Sheets/Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS). For new product submissions, or when a change in chemical composition of an existing product has occurred, a complete copy of t
