This standard aims at helping test personnel perform the test in an appropriate method by describing the measuring method of permanent strain when applying the stress to the bolt under a specified load less than yield stress (st

    4、ress at permanent set limit Rp0.2). 1.2 Applicability. This standard specifies the method of proof load test for external thread parts Note 1 such as bolts and screws. Note 1: The thread of the bolt shall be 4 mm or more in nominal diameter (D), and 3D or more in length. 2 References Note: Only the

DIN 51221 KS B 0233 KS B 0201 KS B 0204 KS B 0249 KS B 5521 2.2 GM Standards/Specifications. None 2.3 Additional References. None 3 Resources 3.1 Equipment. 3.1.1 Universal Tensile Testing Mac

    6、hine. 3.1.1.1 Testing machine used for the proof load shall conform to DIN 51221 or KS B 5521 and be composed of load moving device, load measuring device and test piece gripping device, including body. 1 P7 :0 : ., E:48 6 y The effective cross-section of a bolt is 58.0 mm2 - calculated by 5.1.1.1.

    7、y The proof load stress is 830 N/mm2 - strength (10.9) in Table 1. y Accordingly, the proof load is 48,100 N or 4,900 kgf. (i.e. As u Sp = 58.0 u 830 = 48,100 N) 5.1.2.2 Table indicating the proof load of external thread such as metric coarse screw thread and metric fine thread shall be applied (App
