T255 Program). It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW3172. 1. PURPOSE This

    3、standard aims at correctly evaluating the remote keyless entry & anti-theft alarm system (hereinafter called ”RKE&ATAS”), USSM(Ultrasonic Sensor Module hereinafter called “USSM”), the immobilizer unit(hereinafter called “IMMO”) and RES(Remote Engine Starter hereinafter called “RES”) used for passeng

    4、er cars manufactured by GMDAT. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to the unit RKE&ATAS, USSM, IMMO and RES UNIT. 3. DEFINITION OF TERMS 3.1. RKE (remote keyless entry) receiver It receives the high frequency from the radio transmitter to perform door opening/closing specified in DWG. 3.2. Anti-theft ala

    5、rm system When a thief tries to open the door, hood or trunk of a vehicle, it detects such actions and activates the siren and alarm lamp to prevent theft. 3.3. Immobilizer It has ECM cut off engine starting when it is tried with means other than the peculiar key for the vehicle. 3.4. USSM(ULTRASONI

    6、C SENSOR MODULE) This system is composed of ultrasonic sensor (transmitter and receiver) and control unit. The mechanism is to apply the following case: 1) the system scans the inside of the car using a ultrasonic frequency of 40KHz, 2) In the mean time, the system detects the frequency being change

    7、d by an object movement, 3) the control unit calculate the change frequency to judge whether it is a break-in (intrusion), 4) If judging it a break-in, the control unit sends a signal of burglar alarm to RKE & ATAS UNIT. 3.5. RES(REMOTE ENGINE STARTER) Unit This unit is to receive high frequency fro

    8、m a radio transmitter (in case of full duplex mode, it sends an actuating signal to the radio transmitter) to start up or stall the engine, and also performs the function of RKE & ATAS. 4. Standard test condition Unless specified otherwise, test is conducted under the norm

    10、al temperature and humidity condition specified in KS A 0006 (Test Place Standard Condition). 4.3. No. of samples At least 12 DVP and PVP samples shall be provided for test in principle. 5. TEST EQUIPMENT 5.1. Generals Measuring instruments used for test shall basically be calibrated by the national

    11、 calibration institute and within the effective calibration period. 5.2. Thermostatic chamber Capable of maintaining temperature from 40 to +90, it shall have a minimum capacity of 100 liter. It shall also be able to control relative humidity at each temperature up to 95% with permissible error not

    12、exceeding +2 per temperature. 5.3. Vibration tester It shall be capable of performing test to KS R 1034 (Automobile Components Vibration Test method). 5.4. Control device for durability test It shall be capable of automatically supply and cut-off voltage for unit operation, detect defects and record

    13、 progress time and no. of cycles in durability test. 6. TEST PROCEDURES 6.1. Appearance test 6.1.1. Visual test (1) Conduct visual inspection. (2) When observed visually, the unit shall show no sign of harmful flaws, cracks, or other defects that may adversely affect the performance. 6.1.2. Dimensio

    14、n test (1) Specified samples based on KS B 5203 (Vernier calipers) shall be used. Samples shall meet material requirements of the design specifications and dimensional requirements in drawings. Basic performance test The parts shall operate normally at the supply voltage specified in drawings and each performance value shall stay within the specified allowable range. 6.2.2. Operating voltage (1) When voltage is

    16、 within the range of 9V to 16V, the test sample must be normally activated at a voltage of and at a temperature of -40 +85. The performance must meet the condition described in “6.2.1”. If necessary, discuss with the departments concerned a matter of fact that you should follow the temperature indic

    17、ated in the drawing. (2) Unless specified otherwise, measuring shall be conducted at 3 test voltages within the operating voltage range. 6.2.3. Leakage current (1) It shall be measured at the battery power line with standard test voltage of 12.6 0.1V. (2) Test shall be conducted with the ignition po

    18、wer line OFF. (3) Unless specified otherwise in drawings, the measured current shall not exceed 5 v . 6.2.4. RF (radio frequency) reception sensitivity of remote key function and RES (1) Test method While attenuating intensity of RF output signals of the signal generator, check the operating conditi

    19、ons of the test sample through the simulator. The maximum reception sensitivity is defined as the minimum intensity of RF output at which the test sample operates normally. (2) RES If it operates in full duplex mode, measure the reception sensitivity in the same way as above and check if the measure

    20、ment matches up to the value specified in the drawing. (3) Construction of test equipment 6.2.5. Tx Frequency/Intensity of Remote Key and RES Transceiver Measure TX power and frequency on the transmitter (in case of REX, Tx power/frequency on transceiver) according to EDS-T-5427 and check if the mea

    21、surement matches up to the value specified in the drawing. 6.2.6. RKE & ATAS, RES and immobilizer unit security code test (1) Remote key and RES security code test When function test is performed after security codes of any 5 transmitters are stored to the test sample using the diagnostic equipment,

    22、 it operates normally without developing any troubles. The security codes shall not be erased after power of the sample is cut off. (2) Immobilizer unit security code test When function test is performed after security codes

    24、of any 5 vehicle key (transmitters installed key) are stored to the test sample using the diagnostic equipment, it operates normally without developing any troubles. It shall not operate by the action of vehicle key other than those five whose codes are stored. The security codes shall not be erased

    25、 after power of the sample is cut off. 6.3. Electric resistance test 6.3.1. Test of Fluctuation of Power Supply Voltage (1) This test is to check whether the unit is running normally when receiving an electric shock caused by a voltage fluctuation. (2) Fabricate a test sample according to specificat

    26、ions in the drawing. Apply voltages below to each electric terminal of the battery and ignition for 10 cycles per type and check whether each value complies with the condition described in “6.2.1”. * Test temperature : Normal temperature and normal humidity (standard test temperature) * Total test c

    29、nology 6.3.2. Overvoltage/ reverse-voltage (1) This test is check if the unit inside circuit is protected from overvoltage and reverse voltage that may occur at battery discharge. (2) At test, the unit shall be wired in the vehicle condition. For the system furnished with an inside protection circui

    30、t, an inside protection circuit (fuse) shall be inserted before the unit is operated. (3) When power to the sample is cut off by the action of the inside protection circuit (fuse), immediately replace the fuse with a new one of the same type. (4) Fabricate a test sample according to specifications i

    31、n the drawing. Apply voltages below to each electric terminal of the battery and ignition per type and check whether each value complies with the condition described in “6.2.1”. z Overvoltage A Test voltage: 180.2V Test time : 60 minutes Test temperature: Normal temperature and normal humidity (stan

    32、dard test temperature) z Overvoltage B Test voltage: 240.2V Test time : 1 minute Test temperature : Normal temperature and normal humidity (standard test temperature) z Reverse voltage Test voltage: - 14 0.2V Test time: 1 minute Test temperature : Normal temperature and normal humidity (standard tes

    33、t temperature) 6.3.3. Short circuit When the standard test voltage is applied for 1 minute between the ground and the input and output terminals with both of them shorted, the internal circuit shall not be damaged and each performance value shall be meet clause 6.2.1 basic performance test. 6.3.4. D

    34、ielectric resistance When AC 500 V is applied for 1 minute between the connector pin and case, the internal circuit shall not be damaged and each performance value shall meet clause 6.2.1 basic performance test. 6.3.5. Isolation resistance test When a DC voltage of 500 V is applied to the point betw

    35、een the connector pin and the case of connecter and unit, the insulation resistance must be above 500 Mohm. (If the case is grounded, there must be no heat generation or ignition that may be caused by a leakage current.) 6.4. Environmental test 6.4.1. High temperature exposure (1) Construct the samp

    36、le to the design specifications.     37、ure and humidity for 2 hours. Check if it is running normally according to “6.2.1”. (In case of RES units developed only for domestic market, perform the test according to conditions specified in the drawing.) z Test temperature : +853 z Test time : 96 hours z Test voltage : +14(V) When the sample i

    38、s kept at the above temperature, apply the voltage to each terminal of the battery and ignition. 6.4.2. Low temperature exposure (1) Construct the sample to the design specifications. (2) Perform the test on the sample according to the conditions below and then dry it at constant temperature and hum

    39、idity for 2 hours. Check if it is running normally according to “6.2.1”. (In case of RES units developed only for domestic market, perform the test according to conditions specified in the drawing.) z Test temperature : -403 z Test time : 24 hours z Test voltage : +14(V) When the sample is kept at t

    40、he above temperature, apply the voltage to each terminal of the battery and ignition. 6.4.3. Humidity resistance (1) Construct the sample to the design specifications. (2) Under the test temperature and humidity conditions, supply power to the unit in the no-load state (battery and ignition). (3) Pe

    41、rform the test on the sample according to the conditions below and then dry it at constant temperature and humidity for 1 hours. Check if it is running normally according to “6.2.1”. (In case of RES units developed only for domestic market, perform the test according to conditions specified in the d

    42、rawing.) z Test temperature : +403 z Relative humidity : 952 % z Test time : 250 hours z Test voltage : 12.6 0.2 V When the sample is kept at the above temperature, apply the voltage to each terminal of the battery and ignition. 6.4.4. Thermal shock (1) Construct the sample to the design specificati

    43、ons. (4) Perform the test on the sample according to the conditions below and then dry it at constant temperature and humidity for 1 hours. Check if it is running normally according to “6.2.1”. (In case of RES units developed only for domestic market, perform the test according to conditions specifi

Frost test (1) Construct the sample to the design specifications. (2) Under test temperature and humidity, supply 120.2 V to the unit in the no-load condition (battery

    46、 and ignition.). (3) The unit shall be normally operated at basic function in 6.2.1para measurement when frost is generated after storing it in low temp chamber of -20 for 8hrs and in high temp chamber of humidity 95%, temp 38. 6.4.6. Dust test (1) Construct the sample to the design specifications.

    47、(2) Under test temperature and humidity, supply 12.6 0.2 V to the unit in the no-load condition (battery and ignition.). (3) The unit shall be normally operated when basic function in 6.2.1para is measured after carrying out the following conditions placing receiver bottom downward, putting it on th

    48、e middle of DUST CHAMBER. (The antenna jack hole shall be properly clogged or inserted with the antenna before test.) z Pause : 20 minutes z Dust spraying time : 5 minutes z Total operating time : 8 hours 6.5. Mechanical environment test 6.5.1. Vibration resistance test This test is conducted on the

    49、 vibration tester in the vehicle condition. When the initial performance is measured vibration under the following conditions, the sample shall be running normally.
