T255 Program). It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by

    3、 GMW14364 & GMW15325. 1. PURPOSE This procedure verifies durability of the front seat cushion against fatigue generated from operation of the clutch or the brake during traveling a vehicle. 2. SCOPE Front seats 3. TEST SAMPLES Minimum three new assembled seats 4. TEST EQUIPMENT AND JIG 4.1. Jig for

    4、fitting seats in vehicle conditions 4.2. Leveling surface plate 4.3. Weight loading equipment 4.4. Weight loading jig Round pressure plate with diameter of 100 mm 5. METHODS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF TEST 5.1. Preparation 5.1.1. Fit the seat-fixing jig on the leveling surface table, and then mount a sea

    5、t on the jig. 5.1.2. Set the adjuster systems of the seat as follows: (1) Seat back: Position specified in the design standard (if the design standard unknown, at an angle of 25 28). (2) Other adjuster systems: Positions specified in the design standard 5.2. Test Method 5.2.1. By making use of the w

    6、eight-loading jig, load the weight of 30 kgf on a position 50 mm rear from the forefront position and 120 mm from the center of the seat cushion as shown in fig. 1 for 140000 cycles. 5.2.2. After completion of the loading in item 5.2.1, load the weight of 100 kgf on the position for 10 cycles. 5.2.3

The loading rate should be between 20 and 30 cpm. 5.2.5. When the

Evaluation 5.3.1. The spring or the seam shall be free of severance after the test. 5.3.2. The cushion frame shall be free of crack after the test. 5.3.3. The height adjustment shall be free of difficulty. 5.3.4. The adjuster systems shall be free of defect.
