It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW15088 1. PURPOSE This standard aims at specify

    3、ing bending test methods and test standard to evaluate stiffness characteristics of the door upper window frame in vehicle riding. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to doors for passenger cars and MPV. Particulars not specified here shall follow drawing specifications. 3. SAMPLE PREPARATION 3.1. In the

    4、 event of any intentional deviation from the requirements of this standard or engineering change, the supplier shall inform GMDAT of them. 3.2. Samples shall be composed of components and parts meeting material and dimensional requirements in drawings. Following consultation with the design engineer

    5、, however, they may be composed of parts for developmental use. 3.3. Sample shall be the door in white with door components and parts specified in relevant drawings. 3.4. Door striker 3.5. Samples shall be coated with primer or to the higher stage. 4. TEST EQUIPMENT 4.1. Weight 4.2. Dial gage capabl

Fix the door in white hinge with a door hinge fixture jig 5.3. Fix the latching point with a door striker fixture jig 5.4. Conduct leveling of the fixed door. The

    8、 door shall not be subject to any horizontal tensile force. 6. TEST PROCEDURES/SPECIFICATIONS 6.1. Determine the loading point as shown in Fig 1. Fig 1. How to establish loading points 6.2. Mark the measuring point and record distance from each measuring point on Attachments 1 and 2. 6.3. Install th

    9、e dial gage vertically to the point marked in clause 6.2. 6.4. Install the loading support to the loading point. 6.5. Apply test load from 50N to 400N stage by stage. For each loading stage, measure elastic + plastic strain (E+P) plastic strain (P) with the dial gage and record them on Attachment 3.
