    4、f this specification or the previously released samples, it is sole responsibility of the supplier to inform the purchaser of all deviations. 3.1.4.2 Samples of components released to this specification shall be in conformity with the dimensional and material requirements in drawings. Provided that

    5、they may be composed of development samples following consultation with the design engineer. 3.1.4.3 Samples shall be composed of roof rack assembly components and B.I.W or equivalent B.I.W buck specified in drawings. 3.1.4.4 Samples shall be coated at least to the primer level. 3.2 Conditions. 3.2.

    6、1 Test Conditions. Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 3.3 Safety. This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not

    7、propose to address all the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. 3.4 Documentation. Samples of components or material

    8、released to this standard shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this standard and approved by the responsible GM Department prior to the start of delivery of production level components or materials. Any change to the component or material, e.g., design, function, properties, manuf

    9、acturing process and/or location of manufacture requires a new release of the product. It is the sole responsibility of the supplier to provide the customer, unsolicited, with documentation of any change or modification to the product/process, and to apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed

    10、to, the entire verification test shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to start of delivery of the modified or changed product.     15、ensile force is applied to the tube at a rate of 10 mm/min with the stay fixed and the stay and tube combined, the force with which the tube and stay are separated with each other shall not be smaller than the value specified in drawings. 4.2 Static Stiffness Test. 4.2.1 Test Preparation. 4.2.1.1 Fi

    16、x the B.I.W or equivalent B.I.W buck to the stand. 4.2.1.2 Level the B.I.W or equivalent B.I.W Buck. 4.2.1.3 Assemble the roof rack assembly to B.I.W with fastening torque specified in drawings. 4.2.1.4 Install the roof rack stiffness test jig to the roof rack. For this, either install the aluminum

    17、plate to the jig/roof rack assembled portion or install the actual roof carrier to the roof rack and mount the roof rack stiffness test jig on it. 4.2.2 Buoyancy Force Stiffness Test: FA. 4.2.2.1 Loading direction: Apply load to point “M“ in Figure 1 in WL direction (Vertical to roof panel). 4 7 9 -

    21、ing time: 30 sec. 4.2.3.4 Load keeping time: 600 sec. 4.2.4 Horizontal Force Stiffness Test: FQL. 4.2.4.1 Loading direction: Apply load to point “M“ in Figure 1 in the direction inclined 20 with respect to vehicle advancing direction. 4.2.4.2 Applied load is calculated by the following formula based

    22、 on luggage weight acting on the roof rack specified in drawings. Horizontal Force Stiffness Test Load N = Luggage Weight (Kgf) u 40. 4.2.4.3 Loading time: 15 sec. 4.2.4.4 Load keeping time: 60 sec. 4.3 Dynamic Stiffness Test. 4.3.1 Test Preparation. 4.3.1.1 Fix the B.I.W or equivalent B.I.W buck to

    23、 the stand. 4.3.1.2 Level the B.I.W or equivalent B.I.W buck. 4.3.1.3 Assemble the roof rack assembly to B.I.W with fastening torque specified in drawings. 4.3.1.4 Install the roof rack stiffness test jig to the roof rack. For this, either install the aluminum plate to the jig/roof rack assembled po

    24、rtion or install the actual roof carrier to the roof rack and mount the roof rack stiffness test jig on it. 4.3.1.5 Apply a set up force of 500 N to point “M“ in Figure 1 in the direction opposite to vehicle advancement and hold the state until completion of test. 4.3.2 Test Procedure. 4.3.2.1 Apply
