No cracks shall be shown. 3.2.4.1 The “as received“ part having a 25 mm minimum length, shall have one nipple expanded to a minimum internal diameter of twice the nominal inside diamete

    11、r for a length of (193) mm by forcing the end of one fitting over the appropriate size metal mandrel lubricated with talc. 3.2.4.2 The expanded outside surface of the fitting shall be wiped with a cotton gauze wetted with naphtha (M14J148) to remove any wax or other foreign material which may affect

    12、 the ozone test. 3.2.4.3 Place the elongated tubing at room temperature for 24 hours and put it in ozone tester of (1005) pphm. The inside temperature of the tester shall be at 38 E 1 K. 3.2.5 Compression Set (EDS-T-7424-E). 40 % max. 3.2.6 Vacuum Collapse. 3 % max. y Plug all openings of tubing, ex

    13、pose it to a vacuum of 81 KPa for five minutes and measure the collapse of outside diameter the tubing. 3.2.7 Cold Flexibility (EDS-T-7423-C2). No cracks and breaks shall be shown. y Leave a tubing at (-40) E for 24 hours, flex it 180 over a mandrel with a diameter equal to 8 times the original outs

    14、ide diameter of tubing. The test shall be conducted in the cold chamber (-40) E ) as rapidly as possible. 3.2.7.1 The test shall be conducted on the tubing in initial supply condition. 3.2.7.2 This test shall be conducted on the tubing which is subjected to heat aging in 3.2.2. 3.2.8 Burst Pressure

    15、(ASTM D380). Specified burst pressure: 1.4 MPa min. y Plug one end of the tubing with the other end open, mount it in the test equipment, and leave it at 23 E for 1 hour.
