SCOPE The Material defined by this

    2、 specification is an interior floor covering manufactured from modified thermoplastic elastomer of good quality and uniform construction, suitable for flat and shaped parts. The surface layer may be composed of an alternative thermoplastic material. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released ori

    3、ginally for material used as a floor covering in trucks, vans and/or as specified on the engineering drawing. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 APPROVED SOURCES This specification requires the use of approved sources. Only the sources identified on the Ford Approved Source List (ASL) can be used when this specifi

    4、cation is listed on the drawing, CAD file, or other documents. The list of approved sources is located within Ford at or available externally through a Ford Materials Engineer. 3.2 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test values are based on material conditioned for not less than 24 h prior to tes

    5、ting in a controlled environment of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity. Testing of the material should occur in the conditioning environment or soon after removal. 3.3 PERFORMANCE CRITERIA 3.3.1 Materials approved to this specification must meet all of the requirements in this specification,

    6、 the performance specification WSS-M9P13-A1 and all applicable functional requirements. The values for each suppliers material and performance testing will be uploaded and maintained in the construction package for all new materials. 3.3.2 See Table 1 for sample size and testing required. 3.4 APPEAR

(ISO 37, Type 1, ASTM D 412 Method A, Die A Crosshead speed 250 mm/min) 3.7 AGED MATERIAL PROPERTIES Age samples for 7 days at 80

    10、+/- 2.0 C, and run the following tests. 3.7.1 Hardness +/- 10% change from original (ISO 868/ASTM D 2240, except test ungrained material) 3.7.2 Tensile Strength +/-15% of original (ISO 37, Type 1, ASTM D 412 Method A, Die A Crosshead speed 250 mm/min) 3.7.3 Elongation +/-15% of original (ISO 37, Typ

GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. Contact for questions concerning Engineering Material Specifications. 4.1 RECYCLING CODE (IS

    12、O 1043/11469) Reference ISO document for recycling codes for the approved material being supplied.     13、alled out on the Engineering drawing to correctly designate the approved material. WSS-M99D63-B1 Supplier Name and Product Code (As it appears on the Approved Source Listing) WSS-M9P13-A1 4.3 APPROVAL OF MATERIALS Suppliers desiring approval of their materials shall first obtain an expression of int

    14、erest from Purchasing, Design or Product Development, and Materials Engineering. The supplier shall submit a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by a qualified and authorized representative of the test facility, demonstrating full compliance with all the requirements of the Mater

    15、ial Specification. Tested material samples must be available for review upon request and kept for a minimum of one year. Upon request, the supplier will review the associated quality control documents (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Control Plans, Certification testing) with Ford. 4.4 SU

    16、PPLIERS ONGOING RESPONSIBILITY All materials must be equivalent in all characteristics to the material upon which approval was originally granted. Prior to making any changes to the material originally approved, whether or not such changes affect the materials ability to meet the specification requi

    17、rements, the supplier shall notify the affected Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Purchasing, and Materials Engineering activities of the proposed changes (with reasons) by submission of a completed Suppliers Request for Engineering Approval, SREA. For parts and components using Ford Engineering

    18、Material Specifications, all samples tested to the specifications for Design Verification (DV), Production Verification (PV) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) sign off must be kept until Job 1. 4.5 RESTRICTED SUBSTANCE MANAGEMENT STANDARD Substance restrictions imposed by regulations or Co

    19、mpany direction applies to the materials addressed by this document. The restrictions are identified in the Restricted Substance Management Standard WSS-M99P9999-A1 which is updated yearly. It is the suppliers responsibility to comply with this standard on a continuing basis through IMDS and or GMAP

    20、 reporting. 5.
