SCOPE This specification defines a reinforced elastomeric hose with a non-barrier layer construction and having a conductive tube that is resistant to diesel fuel. The cover is heat and ozone resistant and manufactured using a “no lead“ cure system. 2. A

    3、PPLICATION This specification was released originally for diesel fuel filler hose and vent lines. The maximum working pressure should not exceed 104 kPa. Long term continuous operating temperature should not exceed 100 C and maximum intermittent temperature excursions should not exceed 125 C. This c

    4、onstruction is not recommended for bio-diesel applications. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 TUBE CONSTRUCTION The hose consists o

    5、f an inner tube of diesel fuel resistant elastomer such as nitrile rubber (NBR), one ply of braided, knit, or spiral woven fabric, and a cover of heat and ozone resistant elastomer such as chlorinated polyethylene or chlorosulphonated polyethylene (CPE/CSM). Deviations from the above suggested elast

It is the hose manufacturers responsibility to keep complete records against this date code showing the dat

    15、e of manufacturer of hose materials and test results. Markings shall not be soluble in water or automatic transmission fluid or power steering fluid. These markings shall appear on the outer cover of the hose in contrasting color, at intervals of not greater than 250 mm. Each coupled hose assembly s

    16、hall have a date code of coupling, the Ford Motor Company part number, and the coupling manufacturers identification mark stamped on either end fitting or the center connection. Additional manufacturers markings on the hose and/or coupling for more positive control is permissible. 3.18 HOSE CONSTRUCTION - ELASTOMERS Tube/Cover Nitrile Rubber/Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSM) or /Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE), or NBR/CSM or CPE with Polyester (PET OR PBT) reinforcement.
