SCOPE The material d

    2、efined by this specification is a China Prism HD pattern, knit fabric, flame laminated to flame bondable polyurethane foam or adhesive laminated to a backing scrim. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as cover material for headliners, sun visors, pillars and r

    3、oller shades. Any other applications must be evaluated and approved by the responsible Materials Engineering activity. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS 3.1.1 Materials manufactured to this Specification shall also meet the requirements contained in WSS-M98P3-B/lates

    4、t. 3.1.2 Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements for Production Materials WSS-M99P1111-A/latest. 3.1.3 Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-D1/latest. 3.2 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pa

    6、5 3.3.1.2 Fabric Count (ASTM D3887) Wales 120-160/10cm Courses 190-250/10cm 3.3.2 Foam Polyurethane The foam shall be polyether polyurethane or polyester polyurethane and must meet Sunvisor Performance specification WSS-M98P3-B/latest. For sun visor cover must use polyether polyurethane foam that me

    7、ets flammability requirements as a fabric-foam composite. 3.3.2.1 Thickness As specified on Engineering Drawing 3.4 FABRIC-FOAM REQUIREMENTS See Table 1 for testing requirements. 3.4.1 Odor (FLTM BO 131-03-Variant C) Rating 3 max 3.4.2 Fogging (SAE J1756, 3 hrs at 100C heating, 21C cooling plate, Po

    8、sttest conditioning 16 hrs) Fog number 70 min Formation of a clear film, droplets or crystals is cause for rejection. 3.4.3 Flammability (ISO 3795/SAE J369) Burn Rate 100 mm/min. max Headliner fabric/foam composite shall be tested as 100% fully bonded to the headliner substrate as specified in WSS-M

    9、15P27-F/latest. Sun Visor fabric/foam composite must use appropriate foam to meet the 100mm/min. max as a fabric/foam composite if not 100% fully bonded to substrate. Pillar fabric/foam/scrim composite must use appropriate foam to meet the 100mm/min. max as a composite if not 100% fully bonded to su

    10、bstrate. 3.4.4 Resistance to Abrasion 150 cycles (SAE J948, 500g load, CS-10 wheels) No evidence of excessive surface deterioration. If the laminate is less than 4mm thick and a numerical ply adhesion value cannot be satisfactorily obtained, ply adhesion shall be acceptable if the fabric cannot be separated cleanly from the foam. 4.
