    8、to wet and dry crocking per the test method, evaluate the following cleaners using the procedure for wet crocking: All Purpose Cleaner Rating 4 Glass Cleaner with Ammonia Rating 4 Leather and Vinyl Cleaner Rating 4 IPA (50% v/v. IPA and deionized water) Rating 3 3.12.6 Resistance to Chemicals, min R

    9、ating 4 (ISO 105-A02/AATCC Evaluation Procedure 1) 1. Petroleum Naptha 2. SAE 10 W 30 Motor Oil 3. IPA (50% v/v. IPA and deionized water) Test Method: Apply 2 to 5 ml of each chemical to separate areas of the leather. (Do not allow mixing.) Cover each spot with a watch glass to prevent evaporation.

    10、Expose for 1 h at 23 +/- 2 C. Remove watch glass and wipe with a soft white cloth. Thoroughly wash test area with soap and water (Leather and Vinyl Cleaner) and dry. 3.12.7 Resistance to Migration Staining Rating 5 (FLTM BN 103-01, ISO 105-A02/ AATCC Evaluation Procedure 1 and 2) After test, the spe

    11、cimens and the accessory test materials must not show any surface deterioration, change in color tone (hue), or any other defects and they must be equal to or better than the sample originally approved by Materials Engineering. In addition there shall be no evidence of injurious exudation, adhesion

    12、(tackiness), separation or color transfer when placed face to face with itself and the standard vinyl test material. 3.12.8 Perspiration Staining, 5 Cycles Rating 4 (FLTM BI 113-03, ISO 105-A02/ AATCC Evaluation Procedure 1) After conditioning for 5 cycles, rub the sample with a paperclip or fingern

    13、ail. The materials surface shall show no evidence of softening, lifting, peeling, or color change (as compared to the sample prior to perspiration exposure.)     14、 of 7 3.12.8.1 Sample as received 3.12.8.2 Heat Aged Sample Condition the sample per para. 3.12.3 prior to exposure to perspiration. 3.12.8.3 Xenon Sample Condition the sample per para. 3.12.1 (488.8 kJ/m2) prior to exposure to perspiration. 3.12.9 Suntan Lotion and Insect Repellent, max 24 C, max R

    15、ating 3 74 C, max Rating 3 The suntan lotion must have an SPF factor of at least 30, contain Ethylhexyl p-methoxycinnamate and must be waterproof. The insect repellent must have at least 20% N, N diethyl-meta-toluamide. Test Method: Place 0.25 ml of each solution on the test sample using 19 mm I.D.

    16、O-rings made of Teflon. Expose the sample at the test temperature for 1 h. Immediately remove from test temperature and wipe off the solution. Evaluate samples for visual effect and rate. Rating: 1. No visual effect. 2. Repairable with no visual effect. Repair must meet the rest of the specification

    17、. 3. Spotting, Discoloration. 4. Softening or slight dissolving of top layer. 5. Blistering/delamination. 6. Coating Dissolved.     20、ed. 3.13.2 Method B: Gravimetric Procedure (SAE J1756, 16 h at 100 C heating, 21 C cooling plate, post test conditioning, 4 h) Weight of Condensate, max 5 mg 3.14 COLD FLEXIBILITY, min -35 C (SAE J323, Method A) The material must remain flexible and after bending at 180, it must exhibit no cracks. 3

Fine cracks through the finish coating are acceptable, provided there is no evidence of finish peeling or roll back visible without the use of magnification. . Original 60,000 cycles . The surface shall exhibit no cracking or loss of adhesion. 3.17 RESISTANCE TO SCUFFING 1000 cycles (SAE J365, A head, 0.9 kg) The materials color in the scuffed area

    24、 shall be compatible with the adjacent unscuffed areas. The resistance to scuffing of production material shall be equal to or better than that exhibited by the master sample approved for production by the Materials Engineering Activity. 3.18 ODOR, max Rating 2 (FLTM BO 131-01) 3.19 SHRINKAGE, max.

    25、10% (FLTM BN 105-03, except Heat Cycle 100 +/- 2 C, 3 cycles) 3.20 TOP COAT ADHESION No top coat removal or peeling Using a knife cut and “X“ approximately 25 mm wide down to the base coat of sample. Apply acetate fiber tape (3M #898, 25 mm wide, or equivalent) over the “X“. Rub the tape until good

Grip one end of the tape and with a quick steady pull remove the tape off the face of the sample. 3.21 FLAMMABILITY (ISO 3795/SAE J369) Burn Rate, max 100 mm minute 4.
